大部分的人类个体总会因剧烈变化的社会环境，条件反射地不断确认、寻找、寄託存在感，生活于瞬息万变香港的大众尤为甚之。

对于艺术家们而言，“抽离”是他们用以应对纷繁而浮躁环境的最佳方式。

他们往往暂时抽离，对所处的社会环境进行反思，并以独特的抽象艺术语言讲述自己，也描述著时代。

香港天趣艺术即将于3月24日推出的「抽象·抽离——锵锵三人展」，便是绕此主题展开。展览将于香港大会堂高座七楼展出，参展艺术家包括何少中、陶立成、藏渊。

Most individuals would reflexively assure, seek, and repose to their sense of existence due to the drastical change in social environment, especially for those who live in the ever-changing life of Hong Kong.

“Distancing” is the best state of mind for artists in a complex and impetuous situation. It is a way to freely switch between life and creation, and a way to express their status of life. Through their works, artists are often able to separate themselves temporarily from daily life, and think about the social circumstances, to express the era and oneself in their unique artistic language.

Art of Nature is proud to present “Abstract • Distance”, a group exhibition featuring the works of 3 acclaimed artists: To Lap Shing, Ho Siu Chung and Cang Yuan.

何少中的抽象作品中隐约可见古典的气质和东方的文脉，西方的理性精神与东方的感性情怀在他的作品中碰撞、融合。

作品中是他对周边事物乃至景象以外的感观，他用最纯粹的语言诠释人与自然、生命和一切造物的关係，并给人广阔的想象空间。

Ho Siu Chung's works are depicted in abstract expressionism. Yet, his art shows both Western and Eastern themes and cultures. The confluence of traditional Chinese ink painting and the Western expressionism are distinct and yet complementary.

He paints with no reservation or representation of nature but with the impression and perception of the environment familiar to us. His painting is constructed in pure form and simple language, hovered between abstraction and nature, giving the viewers a poetic space to realize their imagination.

陶立成的作品风格以抽象为主，又以“直觉”为先导，并反复探索对绘画材料本身的感受与体验。

例如以当代艺术家的眼光重新演绎经典作品，将全新的色彩与符号加诸19世纪梵高的作品之上；在京剧系列中，也同样用当代的视觉符号来表现这一传统国粹。

Led by intuition, To has been exploring the feeling and experience of the all sorts of painting materials.

He reinterprets Vincent Van Gogh's works from the perspective of a contemporary artist, adding new colors and symbols to the works of the 19th century. In the “Peking Opera” series, he uses contemporary visual symbols to express quintessence of Chinese culture.

藏渊将生命态度注入作品中，他的作品以绚烂的色彩、模糊的轮廓和烂漫的诗意呈现出奇异的、如幻象般的风景。

受法兰西斯·培根的影响，他在作品中构筑的“空间”打破了既定的框架，赋予它“无限”之感，与此同时融合了中国西北的慷慨豪迈和西方现当代艺术抽象的语言形式，更是向辉煌的唐宋文明表达了敬意，达到“诗中有画，画中有诗”的境界。

Cang Yuan delivers his attitude and pursuits in his works through his life experience. Cang's works present a bizarre, phantom-like landscape with gorgeous colors, fuzzy outlines and poetic languages. Influenced by Francis Bacon, the "space" Cang creates in his works breaks through the framework and gives it a sense of "infinity".

At the same time, he fuses the heroic temperament of Northwest Chinese with the Western contemporary abstraction, paying tribute to the glorious civilization of the Tang and Song Dynasties. His painting has reached the realm of "poetry within painting.”

1951年出生于香港，毕业于香港理工大学设计系及广州美术学院油画创作研究硕士学位。

何少中曾多次参加各大型展览，包括首届及二届广东当代油画艺术展、第十一、十二及十三届全国美术作品展、穗, 港, 澳油画巡回展、中国美术家协会2012年「吾土吾民」邀请展、「香港牵动我的心」主题画展邀请展等。

曾获欧洲国际东方艺术大展铜奖、香港油画研究会2012年首届油画大赛一等奖等殊荣。

作品被荷兰美术馆、香港艺术馆、香港大学美术馆、香港一新美术馆、香港亚洲艺术基金会等各大机构及私人收藏。

Ho Siu Chung, Alex (b.1951) was born in Hong Kong. Graduated from The School of Design, Hong Kong Polytechnic University and The Guangzhou Academy of Fine Art, Master Degree on Oil Painting. 

Ho Siu Chung has participated in numerous exhibitions including The 1st and 2nd Guangdong Province Contemporary Oil Paintings Exhibition, The 11th, 12th & 13th National Exhibition of Fine Art, The Oil Painting Exhibition Tour of Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Macau, “My Land, My People” Invitational Exhibition held by China Artists Association (2012), “Hong Kong Tugs at My Heartstrings”Art Exhibition (2018), etc. 

Ho also was awarded Bronze Medal in Europe International Oriental Art Exhibition and the First Prize in The Hong Kong Oil Painting Competition organized by Hong Kong Oil Painting Research Society (2012). 

Ho’s works have been collected by many institutions including Netherland National Museum (Oriental Art), HKMOA, Museum of HKU, Hong Kong Sun Museum, HKAAF and private collectors.

1957年生于苏州，1975年毕业于西安美术学院（附中），1982年毕业于中央工艺美术学院（现清华大学美术学院），1986年移居香港，从事纺织印染设计工作，并把设计的灵感汇入艺术创作中。现为香港职业艺术家，香港当代艺术文献协会主席，作品风格以抽象为主。

陶立成曾多次参与海内外展览，包括2012年新加坡水彩画展、2015年“鹏海扬帆”深圳水彩画展（深圳大学美术馆），2015年北京鸟巢文化中心0809中央工艺水墨作品展，2019年上海021艺博会等。

To Lap Shing (b.1957) was born in Suzhou. In 1975, He graduated from The High School affiliated to Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts. In 1982, he graduated from Central Academy of Art and Design (Now renamed as Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University). To moved to Hong Kong in 1986 and engaged in textile printing and dyeing design, which inspired his art creation. Currently To is a full-time artist, the President of Hong Kong Contemporary Art Archive. To’s works consisted largely of abstract style.

Cang Yuan

生于1979年，旅法画家，美学博士，毕业于法国巴黎第八大学造型艺术学院和巴黎高等艺术学院。他在英国画家佛朗西斯·培根肖像画方面进行了大量的研究。在哲学、美学、艺术史和油画方面有一定研究成果。

藏渊曾多次参与展览，包括法国秋季沙龙以及戛纳的当代艺术展，2014年美国迈阿米国际艺术博览会，2019年西安第六届国际丝绸之路艺术节暨意相法国当代艺术双人展。并荣获2013年欧洲当代艺术学院展银奖，2014年国家当代艺术学院竞赛艺术成就奖，2015年法国戛纳当代艺术展摩根城市奖等殊荣。

Cang Yuan (b.1979) is a French-based Chinese painter. Holder of Doctorate degree in arts, he studied at the School of Plastic Arts at Paris VIII University and then at the Ecole Supérieure Libre d'Art de Paris (ESLAP) where he obtained the National Diploma of Doctor in plastic art. Cang is a successful scholar specialized in the study of portraits of the British painter Francis Bacon. He has also accomplished a series of research in philosophy, aesthetics, art history and oil painting. 

Cang has participated in numerous exhibitions including Salon d'Automne and Contemporary Art Cannes Biennale, American Miami International Art Fair(2014), the 6th “The Silk Road International Arts Festival – France Truth and Imagery” (2019). Cang also was awarded Silver Medal of the Exhibition of the European Academy of Contemporary Art (2013), Art Achievement Award of the National Academy of Contemporary Art Competition (2014), Morgan City Award of Exhibition of Contemporary Art in Cannes (2015).
