A Brief Introduction to Qin Ling's Paintings

　　Qin Ling, who is now a professor of Hubei Institute of Fine Arts,

　　once lived in Northwestern China ,and received his education in

　　China's most prestigious academies in Beijing and Shanghai. He

　　has worked on landscape for quite a long time. His works

　　originate from his rich experience of observation and from an

　　abundant accumulation of sketches. For this reason, his paintings

　　not only have the flavor of the brush and ink of traditional

　　Chinese landscape painting, but also have a modern character.

　　It is precisely his experience of life that influences the creative

　　theme, form and brush technique of his paintings.

　　Qin Ling's landscape belongs to a style which is a continuation of

　　traditional Chinese art , but additionally, his painting language expresses all sorts of feelings of the life process and humanity's longing for a return to nature.

　　Qin Ling’s landscape, with its natural state and the colors of his

　　subjective heart, stresses the fabric and texture of mountain and

　　water to form a pictorial structure full of tension. Qin Ling's

　　realistic illustration and representation of natural scenery indeed allows viewers to enjoy the artistic charm of his art form.
