October 15, 2007: Taiwan magazine "Exclusive Reports" published an article, under the title "Touring Taiwan and Recording Beautiful Views", about Zhou Changxin's roundabout painting tour made in Taiwan.
April 20, 2008: Established journalist Ji Shuoming from Asia Week, after an interview with Zhou Changxin, published "Taiwan as Mainland Artist Sees it".
May 30, 2008: 《Leisure》was sold on a benefit auction "For Children", a program attended by artists and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture of the PRC. All the money from the auction went to the children in the quake-hit areas of China's Sichuan Province.
May 2008: "Prime Flower" (50x60 cm) was auctioned out at 1.5 million RMB on the first benefit auction to help the disabled by 100 young and middle-aged artists. All the money went to China's Disabled Persons Federation.
August 4, 2008: "New Express" published articles about Zhou Changxin and his Zhongcai oil.
August 6-24, 2008: "One Dream across the World: Joint Exhibition by Du Dakai, Wang Jiaxin and Zhou Changxin" was held by China's Art and Entertainment Group under the Ministry of Culture in China Military Museum. Among the 500 honored guests at the opening ceremony are famous personages Xiang Huaicheng, Meng Xiaosi, Lu Zhangshen, Feng Yuan, Jiang Dawei... 51 of them are high ranking governmental officials on or above the ministry level. Jin Shangyi, Chairman of China Artists Association and Fan Dian, curator of the National Art Museum of China, were among them. The opening ceremony was shown on CCTV News Channel, followed by over a hundred other media. In total, over 200 thousand people came to the exhibition.
September 26, 2008: Zhou Changxin's speech about the merge and innovation of Eastern and Western painting art was warmly received by MBA students at Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business.
August 8, 2009: "Zhou Changxin's Zhongcai Oil Exhibition" and "The First Seminar about Zhongcai Oil Painting" were held in Beijing's Great Hall of the People. Shao Dazhen, famous critic and theorist, chaired the seminar and Shang Hui, editor in chief of the Fine Arts Magazine, schemed the whole process. All speakers are famous personages like Shui Zhongtian, Wang Yong, Tao Yongbai, Ding Ning…. China Cultural Daily gave a whole page to the reports and China.com.cn did live broadcast.
December, 2009: The cover story of a Hong Kong magazine for its December issue is "The Hands of God: Interview with Artist Zhou Changxin".
January 2010: "Zhong Cai Oil Painting", a magazine purposed to publicize Zhong Cai theory and to promote Chinese national oil painting, was founded in Beijing, Zhou Changxin being its chief editor.
March 2, 2010: Zhou Changxin was invited to the studio of the xinhuanet to talk about his roundabout painting trip in Hainan Province.
August 2010: www.zhongcaioilpainting.com started on line.
2010: In collaboration with the U.S Committee of 100, Zhou Changxin's Art Fund founded an award named after him for talented art students working on their master or doctoral degree. It aimed to promote Chinese culture. By 2013, three sessions had been held with 36 winners from different colleges.
November 29, 2010: "People", a program of CCTV made a documentary, "Zhong Cai Oil Painting Artist Zhou Changxin".
July 18, 2011: CCTV channel 4 did an interview with Zhou Changxin about his art.
June 23, 2012: Zhou Changxin lectured at Tsinghua to graduate students about the nature of fine arts.
January 2013: Zhou Changxin inscribed for "The Art of Management" magazine.
March 31, 2013: The name Zhou Changxin gave to a brand-new form of porcelain painting "hou cai ci", sumptuously colored porcelain painting, marked the beginning of a new chapter in porcelain art history.
May 15, 2013: Approved by the Ministry of Culture of the PRC, Zhou Changxin's ten-year painting program across the world, a program jointly sponsored by Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the Center of Sino-foreign Cultural Exchanges under the Ministry of Culture, and Beijing Cultural Development Foundation, started in Beijing. Its first stopover themed "Life—Colors" was Venice, Italy, where it lasted from May 29 until October 15 that year. Shui Tianzhong, famous critic, was its academic person in charge, Wang Yong, master-minder and Xu Hong, executive planner.
Laura Fincato, Venice mayor's advisor, Carraro, President of Venice University and a large member of honored guests, including Chinese ambassador to Italy Ding Wei, Fan Di'an, curator of National Art Museum of China, and Xie Jinying from the liaison department under the Ministry of Culture. CCTV broadcasted the event in different channels.
July 2013: "Hou Cai Ci: Sumptuously Colored Porcelain Painting", was published by People's Fine Arts Publishing House.
July 17, 2013: Zhou Changxin was invited into the board of selection for the second session of Tibetan Art Competition.
Beginning from 2014, Chinese Cultural Promotion Association and Zhou Changxin Art Fund have worked together selecting prize winners for Changxin Art Scholarship for art students in China's mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao. The number of winners increased to 20 and the top three are, apart from the honorary title of "the most promising artists of the year", will be invited to a study trip in Europe. CCTV channel one and four, Xinhua News Agency and China News Service reported this event.
June 2014: Sing Tao Daily gave a whole page to a report: "Talented Artist Zhou Changxin".
June 12, 2014: The speech Zhou Changxin gave at the school of management under the Chinese Academy of Sciences was warmly received.
July 2014: China Pictorial published on its Chinese and English editions "The Oriental Structure Zhou Changxin Constructed for Oil Painting".
August 29, 2014: A large outdoor art exhibition by Zhou Changxin and French artist Man's was inaugurated to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of diplomatic relations between China and France. Present at the ceremony were high-ranking officials from French government, Irma Bokova from the UNESCO and Jean-Dominique Senard, president of the Airbus and Cheng Tao, vice chairman of Chinese Association for Foreign Affairs.
Between September and November 2014: Painting tour in Europe
Between September 25 and October 15, 2014: "Women Flowers," a three-piece hou cai ci porcelain painting was on display at Chinese Ceramic Art Exhibition held in Kazakhstan to celebrate "Chinese Culture Day".
December 2014: A stopover in Germany for Zhou Changxin's world exhibition tour.
June 2015: Zhou Changxin Art Museum is scheduled to start functioning in downtown area inside Beijing's second ring road. It will be a nicely landscaped courtyard house in typical Oriental style occupying an area of 3400 square meters.
Between January and September 2015: A painting tour is scheduled in Russia.
Between September and December 2015: Zhou Changxin's exhibition tour across the world will be held in Russia's national gallery, Moscow.
