人本身就是风景，或者说是风景的一部分。我非常感兴趣的画面是一个人或两个人走在任何角落的瞬间。在这些照片的制作中，我将自己置于舞台设计的角色，对照片辅以彩色或黑白的处理。过去我拍演员演戏的舞台，其实生活中的各个角落何尝不都是舞台呢?

　　Section Two: Walking Scenery

　　Human beings themselves are scenery, or a part of the scenery. I am fascinated by pictures of the moment in which one or two people walk in some specific site. In producing photographs, I put myself in the role of a stage designer, supplementing photographs with colour or making them black and white. In the past I photographed the stage on which actors performed plays, but is not every site of living in fact a stage?

　　The views in these photographs were found in Sydney and Melbourne, between 2004 and 2007.
