怪奇(Grotesque)是耽于空想、稀奇古怪，是不协调与不适宜，是反自然与超现实。

Grotesque is associated with the idea of being fanciful, weird, inappropriate, unnatural, and surreal. 

兴许"怪奇"曾经意味着非常态，作为少数客体被边缘化和批判；但现在世界正处在颠覆般的运行秩序中，“紧急状态”提示人类文明与社会生活的重要意义。走出家门，在日光下的柏油马路看见神的影子，接收植物无声的讯息，追随真挚与爱意的蝴蝶，进入怪奇大剧场——当人们拒绝对自己说谎，勇于面对怪石嶙峋的内心渴望，剥离"怪奇"作为“正常”对立面的身份，视残缺、滑稽与不和谐为值得被接纳和赞美的现实……

Maybe in the past, Grotesque was used to describe abnormality and was usually referred to marginalized and criticized people. However, now the whole world is operating peculiarly, and a “state of emergency” that we are all experiencing reminds us of the importance of human civilization and social life. When we go out to the world, we see the shadow of God lies on the surface of the asphalt highway under the scorching sun, we listen to the messages silently whispered by the plants, and we follow the pure and lovely butterflies to enter the theatre of grotesque. We no longer lie to ourselves, yet we gain the courage to face our buried feelings and desires. When Grotesque no longer means the opposite of normality, the condition of being different, extravagant, incongruous is worthy of respect and appreciation.
