《生灵》系列，是曹境作为一位成熟画家的标志，是画家艺术技法和艺术思想的成熟。尺幅之内，地球万物别的如此温顺可爱，生意盎然;时空转换，如家鸡熟狗，随口呼来，曹境用画笔向人们诠释了“瞬间”即“永恒”的生命意义。曹境的《生灵》系列，展示了世界的丰富、细腻与柔美，拓展了中国工笔花鸟画的表现空间。在以柔美、清丽、典雅、富贵等为主要基调的传统工笔花鸟画中，曹境找到了属于自己的表现路径，显示出可贵的艺术探索精神与工笔花鸟画的时代标高。

　　"Creatures" series is a sign shows that Cao Jing is a mature painter，especially it means the skills and the artistic minds. Within a painting, every living things on earth has become gentle and lovely, the flourish of lives, and the conversion of space and time, was just so familiar with Cao Jing. Cao Jing uses a brush to demonstrate that the “instantaneous” is the “eternal” to people. “Creatures” series shows the diversity, delicate and soft of the world, expanding the performance space of the Chinese Meticulous Painting of Flowers and Birds. The traditional meticulous Painting of Flowers and Birds is based on a soft, elegant, fresh and flourish tone, but Cao Jing found his own way to perform, which shows the valuable spirit of artistic exploration and a new standard of Meticulous Painting of Flowers and Birds.
