Element.2016，有些令人费解，用做了这幅程亚杰自画像的名字。

　　程亚杰在2015年9月天津美术馆《心灵的交换》大型个人画展中展出的第一幅作品是题为《生命·艺术的摇篮》的速写自画像。一幅纯粹的速写人像，技法上是程亚杰素描作品的里程碑，命名上有着尼采哲学的寓意，程亚杰艺术写实和浪漫主义的色彩浓重。

　　2016年8月，在美国内华达州撒哈拉市立图书馆美术馆举办程亚杰《拉斯维加斯艺术交响曲》画展上，展出的是在2016年的完成作品《拉斯维加斯之梦》。在“摇篮”上铺陈了底色，蝴蝶、扑克的梅花、黑桃、字母A在无限广柔的空间和清晰真切的人物之间漂浮，这是拉斯维加斯画派特有的表现手法，有着像扑克所寓意的更深的哲学命题与解答。

　　而2016年创作的《元素2016》突出了人像的时尚和酷炫，逼真形象，更增加了“底纹”速写，用彩色铅笔像小蚯蚓一样将画面涂满不同的颜色，这种手法在意象速写《法女郎》《夏娃》上非常成功，“夜曲”之一《夏梦》在2016年最后添加符号时也是使用这种技法，更让我们充满遐想，成为全新的拉斯维加斯的《夏梦》。CYJ、2016、红心黑桃梅花在斑斓的色彩中绽放着绚丽和哲思。

　　现在也许我们能理解元素在2016想要表达的思想了，拉斯维加斯画派既是一个梦幻，又是脚踏实地的发展变化着艺术流派，元素就在我们熟悉的生活中。

　　对比这三幅程亚杰的自画像也许能看出拉斯维加斯画派从2015年到2016年一年中的发展变化。

　　20世纪现代艺术出现众多的流派和运动，也不完全是新思想，在以前的绘画中会发现许多相似的元素，但是在20世纪，艺术家有意识的挑选其中某一元素加以发挥，成为其艺术创作的主导因素。

　　程亚杰拉斯维加斯画派作品中的一种风格始终以写实为基础，然后用水粉或油画颜料铺陈底色，再添加特有的元素，扑克。数字，字母，蝴蝶等。这三幅作品正是一步步演示出拉斯维加斯画派的某种艺术风格。

An Appreciation of Cheng Yajie's Painting Element, 2016

　　It is a bit perplexing that his self-portrait was named as Element, 2016.

　　The self-portrait named Cradle of Life and Art was the first painting exhibited at his solo exhibition of "An Inspirational Exchange" in Tianjin Art Museum in September 2015. It is a pure figure sketch whose technique turns out to be a milestone of Cheng Yajie's sketches. And its name contains the implied meaning of Nietzschean philosophy, and reflects the realism and romance of Cheng Yajie's arts.

　　Dream of Las Vegas, a painting finished in 2016 based on Cradle of Life and Art, was exhibited at Cheng Yajie "Las Vegas Symphony of Art" exhibition held in Sahara West Library Studio Gallery in Nevada, the United States in August 2016. The background color, butterflies, plum blossoms, squares and the letter "A" were added to the Cradle of Life and Art, floating on the vast space and lifelike figure. This is a unique technique of expression belonging to the painting school of Las Vegas, which reflects much more profound philosophical proposition and response than the pokers.

　　Element, 2016 highlights vividly a fashionable and cool figure, and it's also added with "shading" sketch through penciling the whole picture with different colors. This technique has been successfully applied to French Girl and Eve. And Cheng Yajie also used it to add symbols to Summer Dream, one of Nocturnes, which was then developed into an entirely new Summer Dream belonging to the painting school of Las Vegas. The letter "CYJ", the number "2016", hearts, plum blossoms and squares in the painting display a kind of beauty and philosophy.

　　Maybe we are able to understand the meaning of Element, 2016 now. The painting school of Las Vegas is not only a kind of fantasy but also a continuously developing and changing school of arts. Actually, the elements do exist in our daily life.

　　Comparing these three self-portraits, we may find the development and changes of the painting school of Las Vegas from 2015 to 2016.

　　The twentieth century witnessed various schools and movements of modern arts, though, not all of them managed to put forward new ideas. We can find a lot of similar elements in the previous paintings. However, in the twentieth century, the artist consciously chose a certain element and then developed it into a leading one in his artistic creation.

　　As for Cheng Yajie's works belonging to the painting school of Las Vegas, one of the styles is to use watercolor or oil color to elaborate the background based on the realism and then to add the unique symbols including pokers, numbers, letters and butterflies to it. These three paintings have perfectly demonstrated a certain artistic style of the painting school of Las Vegas.
