2017年程亚杰来到额尔古纳，被她的美丽迷住了，大兴安岭西北麓上茂密的森林，呼伦贝尔辽阔的草原，额尔古纳河的蜿蜒清澈。尤其是根河湿地的白桦林更是让程亚杰一下子回到1990年代的俄罗斯，在那里他领略了大自然的魂魄，也受到了学院派浪漫主义的熏陶，尤其是俄罗斯冰原的白桦树象征着俄罗斯民族不屈的精神，曾给予程亚杰无尽的创作灵感和人生真谛。如今这个中国最北端的城市，气候景物与俄罗斯无异，怎能不让程亚杰心潮澎湃，激情涌动呢？于是程亚杰挥舞画笔创作了一系列额尔古纳情结的描绘白桦林的作品，《白桦林》《窃窃私语》《独树一帜》表现了对白桦林的爱，也是对那逝去的久远岁月和浪漫情感的追索。这幅《额尔古纳印象》是全景图画，将额尔古纳既雄浑壮阔又温婉清秀的情景化作了永恒的印象。

　　画作充分作用色彩的张力，表现白桦林内外的美，运用高级灰使画面柔和平静稳重，让激情蕴含在和谐统一的大自然之中，力量无穷。

　　情结，是程亚杰创作的动力和源泉，黑海之滨如此，茵特拉根如此，尼斯如此，巴黎如此，维也纳如此。程亚杰每幅画作都蕴含着深深的情结，这幅印象也是如此。

Cheng Yajie's Complex of Ergun City and His Oil Painting Impression of Ergun City

　　Cheng Yajie went to Ergun City in 2017 and was obsessed by its beauty — the thick forest at the foot of the Great Khingan Mountains, the vast Hulunbuir grasslands of inner Mongolia and the zigzag Ergun River. In particular, the birch woods on the wetland of Genhe City reminded him of Russia in 1990s. He appreciated the spirit of nature and was influenced by the romance of academism. Birches on the ice field of Russia which symbolize unyielding spirit of the Russian nation once provided Cheng Yajie with countless inspiration of creation and true essence of life. Ergun City, the most Northern city of China, with similar climate and scenery to Russia, made him feel an upsurge of emotion and lightened his passion. Then Cheng Yajie produced a series of art works which describe the birch woods and deliver his complex of Ergun City. The Birch Wood, Whispers and A Tree display his affection for birches and his retrospection of the past days and romance. Impression of Ergun City is an overall painting depicting the grand and graceful beauty of Ergun City which leaves people an eternal impression.

　　Cheng Yajie uses the tension of colors to describe the inner beauty of the birch woods,  applies the advanced gray to make the picture soft, peaceful and steady, and implies his passion in the harmonious nature.

　　Complex like the coast of Black Sea, Interlaken, Nice, Paris and Vienna, is Cheng Yajie's impetus and inspiration of producing art works. The deep complex can be found in all his paintings including this one.
