不知什么时候开始,闻香已成为我创作生活中的一部分,每每作画之时,点上一支沉香,思绪陶醉于烟雾之中,在恍惚之间生长出梦幻般的遐思来。
梦醉沉香不只因为对她嗅觉上的迷恋和沉醉,那曼妙馨香着实让人心神宁静,得到一种心灵状态的达成,闲寂、空灵、雅静;更感动于她那触动心神的源起,生于朽木之中,历经千年“修炼”而成。沉香世家的友人曾说:“每一枚沉香都是大自然赋予的慈悲,它是木中舍利,天地间的灵物。”这像极了我对生命的理解,作品里常出现的枯树和人体的并置与交错可能也是潜意识里受这样的同感所支配的。
人本身就是生命世界里最具灵性的存在,人体的外形和实体不管从机能还是美感上都完美自足,自在和谐。这不正是大自然给予的慈悲么?人,集万物之灵于一体,承蒙着天地恩泽完美了自身。
女性人体柔软而流畅的线条美感最能体现出生命的细腻和精美,那生命的完美结晶不仅能在与枯树苍茫的对比之中得到加强,更能够在这样的并置里让我们的情感体会到更多对于生命的慈悲之心和对万物荣枯的必然规律的深沉之悟。万物有生有灭,生生不息,而生生之仁是我在画面里述说着的对生命本质的情感与思考,用笼罩着幻梦感的唯美方式表达,旨在从人间百态中洗练出一种超然于生活之外的永恒艺术之美。
喜欢用昆曲里的头饰装点造型,在我的审美意识里那是我们骨子里对于美最提纯的表达,都说昆曲美到极致、雅到奢侈,她代表着我们审美理想世界里最极致的妩媚。我们中国人自己对于美的认知是独特的,是抽象、写意、抒情、诗化的综合,总试图在这样一种委婉的审美情境里带来不一样的美感体验,在虚与实的飘忽之间去把握中国古典文化里一直延续着的雍容气韵。
每天拥着芬芳编织着一个个沉酣的香梦,将心灵深处的那一片柔软随着馨香盈盈绽放。渴望提供一个哪怕是非常微小的窗——那进入到生命唯美世界的入口,让人们在忙碌之余可以让疲惫的心灵和气场得以宁和与净化,把现代人那颗粗糙与焦躁的心带回到细腻,带回到优雅,带回到美的世界里。
特别喜欢一句美文:“不念尘世浮华,不写红尘纷扰,不叹世道炎凉,不惹情思哀怨。闲看花开,静待花落,冷暖自知,干净如始。”感觉她如此贴切的描述了我的心思,这里有着我对生活的感触和认知,也是我自足自乐的源泉。我不描绘常人所说的真实,更关注自我营造的梦中世界,对我而言那才是我精神世界里最美最洁净和最渴望的真实。那是我的“幽居的禅房”,在那里我的身体和灵魂一样,时刻都准备着、希冀着、渴望着,充满着芬芳的力量。如同信仰的神明一般,不断给予我创造的源动力,让我的灵魂始终沉醉在宁静而洁白的唯美世界里造梦。
梦境神奇,能将我们生命中最深刻的爱和美保存,定格在最美的瞬间,永远美丽……

Eaglewood Smoke Leading Me into Dream

Somehow, I'm starting to get sandalwood into my creation. I always burn a stick of eaglewood while painting, and then I quickly revel in the smoke and immediately have dreamy thoughts.
I like eaglewood not only because its fragrance makes me calm, drunk and indulged to reach into a relaxed, ethereal and serene mood, but also because it is rooted in deadwood and grows up through thousands of years. A friend born in an eaglewood production family said: "each eaglewood stick is the mercy of nature; it is the relics of woods and the spiritual creature between heaven and earth." This is remarkably similar to my understanding of life. In my painting, the dead trees are often arranged parallel to or staggered with the figure, which may be subconsciously dominated by the same feeling.
Human is the most intelligent existence on the earth. Both body shape and physical functions are aesthetically perfect and harmonious. This is exactly the compassion given by the nation, isn't it? Human, integrating the intelligence of all creatures, perfects itself with the grace of nature.
The soft and smooth lines of female body can best reflect the delicacy of life. The beauty of life can be strengthened by comparison with vast dead trees, and the body accompanied by the dead trees will make us have some compassion for the life and think about the inexorable lay of vicissitude of all things. All are dying as natural as living. The benevolence of living is expressed with dreamlike aesthetic way to present my thinking on the nature of life and aim to form an eternal transcendent beauty of life from all aspects of human world.
I like to decorate the figure with headdress that is often used in Kunqu opera because in my aesthetic consciousness, the headdress is purest expression of beauty. As of that said, Kunqu opera is beautiful to extreme and elegant to extravagant, representing the extreme charm of our ideal word. Chinese people has own unique perception of beauty, thinking it is a abstract, impressionistic, lyrical and poetic synthesis. I tried to bring a different aesthetic experience in such a delicate aesthetic context and seek out the graceful artistic conception that is hidden in Chinese classical culture from the uncertainness between emptiness and reality. I am eager to provide a window, even it is very tiny, to access to the beautiful world of life, so that people can get their mind relaxed and purified and turn their rough and restless emotions into delicate and elegant, finally returning to the beautiful world.
I especially like the sentence "Do not hanker after earthly vanity, do not write the earthly affairs, do not sigh about snobbishness, and do not mess with plaintive emotion. Watch the flowers as they bloom and fade, care own life, and keep own mind as same with the original." It so aptly describe what I'm thinking. The painting is my feeling and cognition of life and the source of my joy. I do not paint the commonly recognized reality but only concern about self-created dreamy world that, for me, is the most beautiful, cleanest and most desired reality in my spiritual world. Like the gods which I believe, it constantly gives me the source of power of creation, while I can be indulged in the quite, pure and beautiful world to create a magic dream, to save the most profound love and beauty in my life and fix the most beautiful moment, making it charming forever.
