范一鸣对文艺复兴时期艺术的热爱为他自己的绘画创作增添了灵感。他在其油画中恰如其分地运用了古典风派。
西藏是一片充满传统色彩、自成风派的国土。藏民朴实而原始的生活方式为他的作品注入了大量新鲜而奇特的绘画技法。画作深深地抓住了乡村生活的清纯。范一鸣将西方文艺复兴古典风格与现代写实主义相结合,在其作品中创建了现代现实主义的表示方法。

Fan Yiming's love of the arts during the time of the Renaissance serves as inspiration for his own painting. He aptly uses this classical style in his paintings.
Tibet is a place which possesses a lot of traditional color scheme and stylist characteristics. The Tibetans' simple and primitive life brings much fresh and astonishing perspective for his paintings. The paintings capture the purity of the country life in a deep celebratory fashion.
Fan Yiming merges the style of the western classical Renaissance with the modern realist approach to create the modern realistic way of expression in his paintings.
Fan creates a peaceful yet powerful beauty in his oil paintings with his exceptional technical skills and creativity. His deep admiration and respect for the Chinese civilization compelled him to create this series of oil painting. Fan applies his own experience in Tibet and his artistic language to the paintings to build a unique style. In his work, we can find a purity and beauty that invokes a deep emotional reaction.
Remarks by Liu Yuanshou:
Mr. Fan Yiming perfectly blended aesthetic feeling of the Tibet folks in his paintings. Instead of expressing Tibet' desolateness, he chose to emphasize the feeling of beautifulness from the characters' dress and vision as well as rays and formality.
