Talk About Body is a reflection about identity and gender. The work shows the artist himself, performing as the main character who is sitting on the bed, surrounded by an audience of undefined people (might be friends, or might be strangers). The composition of the scene creates a very ambiguous tension, as the main character is at the center of the attention of all these people, who are listeners, but are also sources of judgment and opinions.

The artist is reciting a very objective text: he asked an anthropologist to analyse the features of his body, and to draft and anthropological profile of himself. And then the artist reads out loud this very rational and objective description of himself, in a situation that reminds us of a very intimate and sincere confession, or an outspoken coming out, full of pathos and self-involvement. The contrast between the analytical self-definition of the text (the anthropological profile) and the staged scene and composition (a very emphatic, dramatic and emotional one) makes us reflect about the notion of identity, the notion of our own identity, and the notion of how our identity is perceived by others.
