  From an artist's artistic development process and his corresponding life, we can always find constant tracks and examples from predecessors. Zhang Zhizhong is very clear on this point! Although he does not reject cola, he would never pour cola into ink in order to try and experience something new.
  From the write of Zhang Zhizhong, the breath overflowing from the lines always gives people comfortable sense and safe sense. I suppose that calligraphy is a comfortable and safe thing for Zhang Zhizhong. The so-called comfortable is probably at least not painful, and the so-called safe sense is probably that no suffering is normal. After seeing Zhang Zhizhong's writing, painter Li Wenliang also expresses the similar views, saying: how comfortable it is to look at the writing being hanged up! His implication is that hanging up the character does not "shock people", not catch the eyes by displaying, but it is gentle like a jade and body temperature, coming forth an enduring power in the usual matters. In addition to personal germination, the power may also come from the blessing of former worthies. When an artist can really get rid of pop and contact the tradition, the secret self-confidence of his inner heart must be showed the conscious distinguish ability and immunization for the problems of time. Wait and watch the movement and quietness in the complicated time tide. The true thing that can affect the excitement and comfort hidden long inside his heart is only the tradition needing be stressed.
