程亚杰新作《生命》赏析

  这幅画让我骤然停下脚步,驻足凝望,久久不愿离去。

  心中想起泰戈尔的诗句:生如夏花之绚烂。

  目光执着在斑斓地色块中逐一逡巡,心也很随着或停止跳动,或随之勃发。

  生命,第一是色彩,约10多平方米的画布上色彩在变化和运动,赤橙黄绿青蓝紫和介于两种和多种颜色之间的无穷尽的变化;运动在每一个色块当中和色块之间不停止的进行着,糅合,介入,融化。

  画笔的手法表现出色彩的质感,色形色块表达抽象的符号和形象。画面的底色有着传统意味的灰色,高贵典雅;大海的蓝色,成熟、忧郁、忧患而保持理想的调;点点的红、绿、棕。。。表达浪漫和生机盎然;画面的印象风格和抒情笔法,有着曾经沧海难为水,除却巫山不是云的人生意境和情怀。

  德彪西描绘自己的音乐图画是“对单一颜色做各种组合的实验,就像研究绘画中的灰色。”

  画面中高冷的色调,灰色,难道不是生命中艰辛与孤独的内心?但灰色也是钢铁般的颜色,代表刚强和不屈。绿色,表现出勃勃生机,虽是寒冬艺术家的内心已是春意盎然;整幅画面色彩饱满凝重,紫红纯白,棕色海蓝。。。同样的色块不一样的表现手法,在沉稳中表现动感,在黑暗中寻找光明;程亚杰对色彩的把握是卓越的,在色彩中把生命的多样与美表现得淋漓尽致。

  程亚杰的《生命》把无彩和有彩两个色系做了融合,用黑白灰有效地调节了画面的明暗,从锌白到煤黑,中间无数的高级灰,不断的明度变化就像生命的厚度。有彩色展示了生命的宽度,不同纯度和明度的单一色和混合色错落交织,可以说每一个色块就是一幅画,就是一个生命;画卷既是一个生命从生到死的全景诠释,也是芸芸众生的命运跌宕。

  生命,第二是构成,画作的底色本身就是一幅画,层层叠叠的色块又是一幅画,画上有画,画中有画。

  1919年的包豪斯设计学院在格罗皮乌斯提出的“艺术与技术的统一”口号下,努力寻求和探索新的造型方法和理念,对点、线、面、体和抽象的形、色、质有了新的认知。

  程亚杰艺术很好的融入设计概念和方法,既和程亚杰的艺术经历有关,在工美,舞台,服装都有很深造诣,也和程亚杰总结吸收各个领域的最新成就有关。

  画面构成四周深沉,中间明亮,底色稳健,色块活泼,画面既像从苍穹宇宙将万紫千红洒落世间,也像从广柔大地喷薄而出无数的生命。生死,在呼吸之间。画面底色上篮下紫,形态各异的色块散落其间,自然而然,在不动声色中成就了完美造型,视觉,眼前一亮。力学,奇俊均衡;审美,别具一格。

  每一个局部,既关乎全局,又独立成画。个体与群体。恰似生命的构成。

  生命,是艺术的永恒的主题,诠释,思考,讴歌,赞美。

  程亚杰这幅《生命》有着极强的表现力,生命的画卷徐徐展开,历史长河,茫茫宇宙,生命,不停不休不屈不挠!

  I stopped and stared at this painting for a long time. I even don’t want to leave.

  It reminds me of Tagore’s famous poem that “Let life be beautiful like summer flowers”.

  My heart is echoing with these various color lumps in rhyme.

  The color is an essential element of Life. On the canvas with over ten square meters, various colors are changing and moving. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple are changing endlessly. Different color lumps are moving, combining, intervening and melting with each other.

  The technique of paintbrush displays the texture of colors. Color shapes and lumps demonstrate abstract symbols and images. The ground colors comprise gray, blue, and slight red, green and brown. Gray implies tradition, elegance and noble. Blue is the color of the sea, creating an atmosphere of mature, melancholy, suffering and ideal. Red, green brown and other colors are expressing romance and vitality. The impressionist style and lyric technique display a kind of artistic conception and feelings, just like the poem going that “No water’s enough when you have crossed the sea; no cloud is beautiful but that which crowns the peak”.

  Debussy described his own music as paintings that “practising combining a single color with other colors is just like studying the gray color in paintings”.

  Gray, a kind of reserved hue, reveals the sufferings of life and lonely inner heart, doesn’t it? Meanwhile, gray is the color of steel and symbolizes strong and unyielding. Green shows the vigour and vitality in the artist’s heart in cold winter. Colors of the whole painting are abundant and dignified, including purple, red, white, brown and blue. The same color lumps displayed with different technique of expression demonstrate dynamic in steadiness and light in darkness. Cheng Yajie has a good grasp of colors, and displays the variety and beauty of life with colors in a incisive and vivid way.

  Cheng Yajie combines colorless system and color system together, adjusts the brightness and darkness of the painting with gray and white. The brightness, changing from zinc white to senior gray, and to coal black, reveals the thickness of life. He uses colors to display the width of life. Single colors and mixed colors with different purity and brightness are well-arranged. Each color lump can be descried as a painting and even life. A painting not only explains the process from birth to death but also reveals ups and downs of all living things.

  Composition is the second element of Life. The ground color of the painting is also a painting itself. All the stacked color lumps can be regarded as another painting too. There are paintings above and in the original painting.

  In 1919, under the slogan of “unity of art and technique” put forward by Gropius, Hauhaus pursued and explored new methods and concept of modelling, and got a new understanding about dot, line, level, volume and the abstract shape, color and texture.

  Cheng Yajie integrates design concept and methods into his art, which is related to his excellent attainments in arts and crafts, stage and clothing, and related to his absorption of the latest achievements in different fields.

  The whole painting is comprised of dark surrounding colors, bright middle colors, steady ground colors and dynamic color lumps. It’s just like beautiful colors dropped from the sky down to the earth and countless lives appearing on the vast land. Life and death is just between breaths. The ground colors, with blue above purple, is filled with different color lumps arranged in a natural way, which achieves a perfect modelling. It’s a real surprise. The mechanics is elegantly balanced and the beauty is peculiar.

  Each part has an influence on the overall painting. Meanwhile, each part can be a separate painting itself. Individual and group colors are just like the composition of life.

  Cheng Yajie’s Life shows strong expression. The painting describes the whole life and history, boundless universe and perseverance!
