　　速写是油画家最基本的功夫，淡抹浓妆的两笔油彩赋予作品新意，是程亚杰的历史性创新。

　　美：味、色、声、态的好。西汉司马迁《史记吴太伯世家》：见舞《大武》，曰：“美哉！周之盛也、其若此乎！”

　　艺术美，自然美在《沉思》，《遐想》中完美融合，始于心，沉于思。观其形，瑕其想。

The Underplaying Beauty: An Appreciation of Cheng Yajie's Sketches Meditation and Reveries

　　Cheng Yajie just spent two minutes on each of these two paintings which were sketched with a few strokes of pencil. It's a delicate touch.

　　The shape and expression of the character in the paintings are vividly and elegantly revealed, and palpitate people with excitement.

　　Sketch is the most basic skill for an oil painter. The plain oil paints endow the paintings with new meanings, which is an historical innovation for Cheng Yajie.

　　Beauty is reflected in the tastes, colors, voice and forms. Sima Qian, a famous historian in the Western Han Dynasty, once wrote that "When Ji Zha is appreciating the dance of Da Wu accompanied by music, he was shocked by the beautiful dance and compared it to the prosperous period of Zhou."

　　Both Meditation and Reveries combine the artistic beauty and natural beauty. Appreciating the beauty from heart will make us lost in thought, and looking at the expressions makes us indulge in reveries.
