和嘉，艺术家

和嘉的绘画语言近期产生了一次猛烈的突变，告别了过去对于社会消费和娱乐全球化的关注，更加着眼于记录日常的个体，追求充满诗性的节奏。但他在处理画面时，仍然偏好浓重的痕迹，善用奇异的视觉元素，用抽象性的技法驾驭具象的题材。和嘉，1976年出生于云南，现工作生活于北京。曾在世界各地艺术机构举办参与个展或群展，包括韩国、美国、新加坡、泰国、德国等。作品被多家知名美术馆和基金会收藏，包括中国美术馆、澳大利亚白兔美术馆、Robert Chaney基金会等。

The expression of He Jia's painting has dramatic changes, instead of concerning about consumerism and the globalization of entertainment, it pays more attention on recording individual’s daily and pursuing a poetic rhythm.However, he still prefers heavy traces, makes good use of exotic visual elements, and uses abstract techniques to manage the subjects.He Jia, born in Yunnan in 1976, currently lives and works in Beijing. Exhibited in South Korea, the United States, Singapore, Thailand and Germany. His works have been collected by National Art Museum of China, the White Rabbit Art Museum of Australia, the Robert Chaney Foundation etc.
