For Doig, this project is a ruined Hall of hope. The nine large-scale oil paintings inspired by the project - Doig's pioneering "concrete hut" series, is the largest and most unique cycle of all Doig's works - and becomes a meditation on the decline of Corbusier“ "Boiler house" was selected for Doeg's retrospective exhibition at Tate Gallery in 2008.
