近日，有幸征集到一枚湖北省造光绪元宝，直径：2.8cm重约7.27g。光绪元宝湖北省造当十大火珠左飘此币铸造于公元1902年（光绪二十八年）左右。湖北光绪元宝当十版别之分字体上有大北、小北之分。龙身麟甲有六路、七路、八路之别。龙身火珠有小火珠大火珠之分，大火珠又有火焰左飘和右飘之别。小火珠有包环无环之分。还有龙胸无云、瓜在须外、龙头无云、珠圈水龙、特大龙、珠圈旱龙、立龙、坐龙等版别。

 

此枚藏品正面圈内铸有铭文“光绪元宝”，珠圈外上环铸楷体“湖北省造”四字，底部铸货币价值：“当十”，中心为六星。元宝背面内圈铸有神龙腾飞图腾，外圈铸有英文，品相精致，其审美风格独特。钱币虽小，也可管窥当时社会文化一斑。多位清帝在位时发行过铜币来作为流通货币，铜币的使用具有重要的现实意义和历史意义，使交易逐渐便利起来。其确实风格独特，文化内涵丰富，是不可多得的珍稀之品。

 

藏品铸工精美，品相较好，铜币包浆入骨，流通痕迹自然，边齿对，具有极高的投资价值和收藏价值。它有着历史熏陶，是价值很高的革命文物，具有深远的历史纪念意义；同时，还是考古和研究中国历史文化难得的实物。

 

光绪元宝是清朝光绪年间流通的货币之一。由湖北两广总督张之洞率先引进英国铸币机器铸造银元和铜元，之后各省纷纷仿效。共有十九个省局铸造，除中央户部，地方省所铸铜元，皆在其正面上缘镌写省名。

 

铜币的文字也没有哪一种可以与户部一两的文字相比。最重要的两点：一是该币几乎每一笔笔画中以及纹饰中均添加了迄今难以模仿的圆点暗记， 背面盘龙龙眼内有两颗清晰的内视龙睛，直指龙珠， 简直就是最优秀的盘龙浮雕作品。 该币实际生产数量：本币在 袁世凯 批准后总共试制了六七千枚。至今为止的诸多的 臆造币 、仿造币文字和铸造上无一可望其项背！

 

湖北省开我国铜元之先河，由于机制铜元较之方孔铜钱铸造精良，市商乐用，流通顺畅。次年，政府即谕令沿江沿海各省准许仿铸。尔后，全国各地纷纷开机铸造铜元。故当时铜元铸造地各异，这是区分不同当时铜元的最明显特征。作为近代钱币中的精美铸币之一，更是开创我国铜元之先河，文化内涵丰富，是不可多得的珍稀之品，具有非常高的收藏价值。

Recently, we were lucky to collect a Guangxu Yuanbao from Hubei Province. Its diameter is 2.8cm and its weight is about 7.27g. Guangxu Yuanbao, made in Hubei Province, was coined in 1902 (Guangxu 28). The ten editions of Guangxu Yuanbao Dang in Hubei are divided into Dabei and Xiaobei fonts. There are six roads, seven roads and eight roads in Longshen Linjia. The dragon body fireballs are divided into small fireballs and big fireballs, and the big fireballs are different from the left and right fireballs. Small fireballs can be divided into rings and no rings. There are also versions of Dragon Breast Cloudless, Melon Outside the Musk, Dragon Head Cloudless, Pearl Circle Water Dragon, Super Dragon, Pearl Circle Dry Dragon, Lilong, Sitting Dragon, etc.

 

Inside the front circle of the collection is the inscription "Guangxu Yuanbao". Outside the jewelry circle, the four characters "Made in Hubei Province" are cast in the upper circle. At the bottom, the currency value is cast: "Dang Shi", with the center being six stars. Yuanbao's inner circle is cast with the totem of the dragon's takeoff, while the outer circle is cast in English with exquisite taste and unique aesthetic style. Although the coins were small, they also had a glimpse of the social culture at that time. Many Emperors of Qing Dynasty issued copper coins as currency when they were in power. The use of copper coins has important practical and historical significance, which gradually facilitates the transaction. Its unique style and rich cultural connotation are rare products.

 

Collection casting exquisite, good appearance, copper coins into the bone, circulation trace natural, side teeth pair, has a very high investment value and collection value. It is a revolutionary cultural relic of high value and has far-reaching historical commemorative significance. At the same time, it is also a rare object in Archaeology and research of Chinese history and culture.

 

Guangxu Yuanbao was one of the currencies circulated during the period of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty. Zhang Zhidong, governor of Guangdong and Guangdong provinces in Hubei, took the lead in introducing British coin machines to mint silver and copper yuan, which were followed by other provinces. There are nineteen provincial bureaus casting. Except for the central household department, the copper coins cast by local provinces are all inscribed on the upper margin of their fronts.
