Oriental and western, traditional and contemporary, none is the subject of my thinking, but only the excuse in language form, onlyappearance, while the spirit is actually fundamental. The spirit is not grafted and juxtaposed, but unified in distance.
The modern art actually takes on two aspects, one shows through form creatoin, the other expresses through quering in spirit. I am thelatter, who more tends to get to spiritual unification through repeated reciting. In such a simple art form, there is something rich andmagic, which appears between absorption and devotion, flexible and unpredicable in releasing and self-denial.
Since the time of Picasso, the trend of thought blindly pursuing new, changing and advancing encouraged the fickleness of art form;Since Beuys, deconstruction also became the mainstream excessively. But I only tried to act against the trend myself, wrapped this bloodybody with a huge curtain, to show a completed and simple body. Such behavior may sound a kind of weakness or embarrassment, buteven with a Don Quixote style unexpected ending, I must still stick to. In such a miscellaneous contemporary art trend, there must be akind of balance between constant construction and deconstruction.
