Art is the process of innovation. Originalityand unceasing self-denial are the most precious character of an artist. Liu Huijun is just such atrudger. As a talented painter, a martyr for art, he has gone through severe condition to sketch and depict.

　　He himself is the perfect illustration of the spirit ofa genuine artist. In an age with highly developed visual imaging technology, art is _lled with copying and plagiarism and has almost reached a state of bubble boom. But Liu Huijun’s character of independent thinking and spontaneous creation is in sharp contrast to those phenomena.

　　It was predestination that I could meet Liu Huijun.Although my childhood dream of becoming a painter failed to come true, I do make some difference at my present work field. Then I started my trip for dream----oil painting collection. Thanks to my job, I’ve got many chances to visit those famous European museums and galleries. My innate passion for art makes me immerse myself inthose precious communications with the painters.

　　With the increase of my collection experience, I gradually broadened my horizon. Liu Huijun, who has extensive knowledge and excellent sense of configuration and color, gives me a boost. His life in poverty and strong attachment to oil painting affected me deeply.

　　I consider that an art master is the combination of genius, wisdom as well as a proper historical background. The splendor of art can only be produced by human’s free will, and the Renaissance is the best example. While in China,after years of reform and open policy, the Chinese art _eld has been unprecedentedly dynamic; the oil paintings in China are gradually gaining the focus ofthe world.

　　Meanwhile, there emerges a great amount of art schools and artists. Unfortunately, a majority of the art works is opportunistic and the quality of many paintings does not equal its reputation. Fake auction and whopping price happen constantly, however, time is the best touchstone, I _rmly believe that those who can endure solitude and who can devote themselves into creation are the people who could prosper the art field.

　　Liu Huijun is definitely one of them. He persists in his way of painting,expressing his reflection on life and society and creating odes to artistic compassion, regardless of sophisticated social activities.
