这本画册里的照片除了部分人体拍摄于20世纪80年代末至90年代初外，其余均拍摄并制作于2004年至2007年之间。我过往的艺术实践，无论摄影、绘画或雕塑，大多是以观念去指导艺术创作，用传统的工具去完成作品。电脑时代和数码技术为艺术带来了挑战和革命。用数码相机拍摄，用Photoshop制作图片，在我看来它们如同画笔、如同暗房。而对我个人而言，使用数码技术制作这些照片过程中的轻松和愉悦，则是以前没有感受过的;反映在图片中，则是那种不带说教和挥洒自由的时代感。我愿将这种感觉与大家分享。

　　The photos in this picture album, with the exception of the nude shot in the late 1980s and the early 1990s, were taken and produced between 2004 and 2007. In my previous artistic practice, whether photography, painting, or sculpture, artistic creation was directed by concepts and produced with traditional tools. The computer age and digital technology have brought challenges and revolution to art. Using a digital camera to photograph, and Photoshop to produce pictures, is in my view like using a brush and a darkroom. For me, the process of using digital technology to produce these photos was relaxed and joyful, in a way that I had never experienced before. Reflected in these photographs is that kind of freedom without sermons that is the feeling of the age. I want to share this kind of feeling with you.
