2008年与藏家缘分

  郝丽与美国、大卫,澳大利亚、庄藏家的画缘

  这么漫长的考验我的意志力,2007年4月开始---2008年4月正好一年的时间我没有被收藏作品,4月经朋友当代策展人李铁军推荐美国大卫来到我的工作室,他不说话的楼上楼下转了好几次,坐下来与我谈作品,说我已经完全有自己的绘画风格,但还有莫迪里阿尼大师的影子,需要时间去掉,可贵之处我没有被浮躁的艺术市场污染,保持着自然的质朴与平合的画画心态,这样会走的更远,他收藏了我的作品在合理的价格,作品《舞台角色》《戏姿》等,他与朋友说会与我有艺术上的合作,感激他总是打越洋电话,给我鼓励讲美国纽约的艺术与画家一生心态,如何更好的走艺术之路。紧跟着5月澳大利亚庄推开我工作室的大门,让我惊奇从天而降的人,他们从工作室门外看到挂着的大招贴画,在进到工作室不到30分钟他们决定收藏我的作品,大小选了30多幅作品,《童年的世界》《谁扰乱了我的思绪》《午后咖啡》《穿红兜兜的中国女孩》《小丫鬟》《谁超越了爱情的界线》《我不知道?》《一枝玫瑰花》《一个人的情》《欲春》《欲》等。复苏的春天在召唤我的生命,他们推开了我澳大利亚作品的窗口,庄也为中国之行收藏我的作品而高兴,我感谢老天对我的恩惠,我的幸运总是从天而降推动我画画的使命感,这些是在毅力战胜人性脆弱后才姗姗来临。随后我中央美院王华祥老师我们都住在环铁艺术城他再次带朋友湖南卫视天娱董事长龙丹妮、来到我的工作室,收藏作品《镜子》《童年》《春韵的自画像》《错情女孩》《花语》《爱情女孩》《遥遥女儿梦》《爱情的心语》等,2000年4月美院期间王老师首次收藏我的作品,在那个时候、那种困境时赋予我今后画画的起点••••••我永远感激王老师!

  6月郝丽与王工、美国电影制片人关宵溟关姐姐的缘分

  关姐姐、潘超夫妇,还有《狮子王》《功夫之王》好莱坞导演罗伯特,民可夫来到我的工作室,因为我给关姐姐画肖像作品《夫妻俩》等,罗伯特民可夫的夫人是美籍华人孔子76代孔令华,他希望我给他们夫妇画肖像,纪念他们结婚一周年,在见面聊天以后,我决定给他们画美国名导演与中国灰姑娘美丽的爱情,作品《美丽的神话》《夫妻俩》《孔令华与孔令奇兄妹俩》等,关姐姐为我又推开了美国艺术领域的大门就这样再一次开启!

  6月底郝丽与798艺术区东岸印象画廊姜总的缘分

  2008年8月8日全世界人都关注的中国北京奥运会即将在开幕,我也有幸与姜总签下了这次画展的合作,在奥运会期间郝丽个人画展将在2008年8月3日下午3点在798艺术区隆重开幕,著名策展人栗宪庭先生为这次画展提名:《爱之彩》,学术主持、陶咏白,学术研讨、贾方舟、邓平祥、徐虹、荒林、罗丽、王华祥、韩中人等、主持人李铁军, 专业学术到国内外人士几百人参加开幕式非常感谢为这次展览到场的每一为来宾,798国际艺术区100多家画廊中,在奥运会期间《爱之彩》创下独有的一家画廊举办为期两个月时间,被幸运的光环照耀下我倍感今天拥有的,感谢爱我的藏家及朋友,我会为拥有你们的爱而更加的努力画画。超越自己让你们为收藏到我的作品,高兴而踏实,感谢姜总后来成为我的藏家及朋友、这个展览我的30幅作品被收藏《玫瑰花飘呀飘》《爱绪》《童语》《女人欲》《不同心境的夏日梦》《玫瑰花开的季节》《美丽的谎言》等。2008年9月展览期间,因为奥运会世界的人都来798看艺术,俄罗斯的藏家来我的展览共8次,他们选准作品希望收藏我最大的15幅油画,经与画廊一次次谈判难以合理成交,藏家让翻译对我说希望与我独立成交,我不能这样做是这个画展为我举办画展机会,不能让老外感到中国的画家在背叛画廊、我们中国人自己都没有信任度,他们说我与画廊合作很多年吗?别的经济人或助理,我拒绝了他们任何的途经,虽然这是一次难得的诚恳的国际藏家长达8次的谈判,如果那次成交作品将会在798有创一个记录,但我不能越过为我铺路的画廊,不能因为金钱违背我做人的道德、不能面对自己的利益伤害画廊曾面对签约我几次放弃,面对藏家我没有被贪婪的利益驱使良心越轨,我感到活着的实在、画画给予我静心的世界。

  2008年郝丽与法国藏家李玉的缘分

  法国巴黎是世界艺术的殿堂,9月份李玉因奥运会来798看完画廊后,在走出大门时发现展览我作品的画廊。走进去她被画面中女人世界交错的情感及独特的颜色深深吸引,购一本画册《爱之彩》回去看,每晚睡觉时她看画册忘不掉作品与她情感的对话,丈夫说在巴黎你拥有世界名画,你怎会喜欢这种风格的画,在巴黎生活20年的她,没有让名画取代我作品对她心灵的触动,第二次来画廊我们恰好见面,我的平和、独特的内心魅力与画面相吻合,亲切交谈后,本应一幅作品时变成收藏两幅《不静的夜》《这个不平静的夏天》。

  2009年12月8日应邀参加法国巴黎卢浮宫画展作品《故乡的花朵》参展,李玉请我吃四川火锅我们两个女人的聊天、爱情、家庭、婚姻、情人使我更懂得她收藏我作品的缘由,女人懂得女人,我还与她的丈夫、孩子、朋友一起吃饭,幸福的家庭画面在异国他乡存在着淡淡的乡愁,我们享受参观奥赛博览馆、欧洲时报《明行有约》的记者张明行,李玉的迎见、我们也很了得来她为我写了文章《798的郝丽在巴黎》,因为作品亲近我与藏家之间交流的纽带,他们天天都会与我见面(因为作品挂在他们家的客厅或书房),第二次的巴黎之行我喜欢这个浪漫的城市。朦朦细雨巴黎夜遇银行家第一面表白的爱情、有歌剧院陶醉的热情音乐剧、有巴黎地铁票巧遇中国帅哥的陪伴、及享受女朋友在一起的笑声••••••

  The predestinated relationship in painting between artist Hao Li and American David, Australian collector Mr. Zhuang

  It seemed that my will power had endured the test of long time for none of my works had been collected from April 2007 to April 2008. In April 2008, Li Tiejun, a friend of mine and also a curator of contemporary arts, introduced an American named David to come to my workshop. The American walked around the workshop back and forth in silence, and then talked about the works with me. He said that I had already formed my own style and taste of painting, although there existed a little shadow of the master Modigliani in my works which needed to be erased in order to form my own style completely. He praised me for always keeping a natural and peaceful mind in the process of painting and for not being contaminated by the disturbing art market. At last, he collected some of my works at a reasonable price, such as “the Stage Role”, “Acting Pose” and so on. I was also told that we could strengthen cooperation in art field. I was very grateful for his kindness in telephoning and telling me the life and minds of artists in New York and teaching me how to go further in art field. Shortly afterwards, the Australian Mr. Zhuang opened the door of my workshop in May 2008. What amazed me was that it took less then 30 minutes for him to decide to purchase more than 30 works of different sizes, small and large, such as “World of Childhood”, “Who Disturbed My Mind”, “Afternoon Café”, “A Chinese Girl in Red Daudau”, “A Little Female Servant”, “Who Surpasses the Boundary of Love”, “Don’t I Know?”, “A Bunch of Roses”, “the Emotion of A Person”, “Spring of Desire”, “Desire” etc. Mr. Zhuang was very delighted about this trip of collection. As a result, I opened the gate of Australian art field with the help of Mr. Zhuang. The recovering spring summoned my life and I appreciated the boon bestowed by God. My Luck was always there when needed and motivated me to better carry out my mission of painting, and all these came slowly after the will conquered the weakness of human beings. Later on, Mr. Wang Huaxiang, my teacher in the Central Academy of Fine Art who also lived in the Huan Tie Art District, brought Miss Long Danni—the chairman of Tianyu Media of Hunan TV—to my workshop. She collected my works “Mirror”, “Childhood”, “Self-Portrait of Chunyun”, “A Girl Falling In a Wrong Love Relationship”, “Flower Language”, “Girl Falling In Love”, “Remote Girldream”, “Soul Words of Love” etc. In April 2000 when I studied in the Central Academy of Fine Art, teacher Wang first collected my works. At that time, the difficulty laid the road for my painting career in future…I would thank teacher Wang forever.

  Mrs. Guan and Mr. Pan, the couple came to my workshop and asked me to paint a portrait called “the Couple” for them. Besides, Robert Minkoff, a famous Hollywood film director whose productions included “the Lion King” and “the Forbidden Kingdom”, also came to my workshop with the wish that I could paint portraits of him and his wife (Ms Kong Linghua, the 76th generation descendant of Confucius) to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. After meeting and talking with him, I decided to paint a beautiful love story about a famous American film director and a Chinese Cinderella. And then the works “Beautiful Fairy tale”, “the Couple”, “the Brother Kong Lingqi and the Sister Kong Linghua” etc were created. As a result, I opened the gate of American art field with the help of Mrs. Guan.

  Beijing Olympic Games would be held on August 8th, 2008, which attracted the attention of the world. I was very lucky to be the artist cooperating with Mr. Jiang, that is, the Destination Orient Image Gallery would hold a solo exhibition for me during the period of Beijing Olympic Games. Famous curator Mr. Li Xianting named this exhibition as “the Color of Love”. Mr. Tao Yongbai acted as the academic director. Jia Fangzhou, Deng Pingxiang, Xu Hong, Huang Lin, Luo Li, Wang Huaxiang, Han Zhongren, Sun Xin and Hao Lixun participated in the seminar. There were also hundreds of people, Chinese and foreigners, came to the opening ceremony of the exhibition, and for these people, I was very grateful. “The Color of Love” was the only solo exhibition among more than one hundred galleries in 798 Art District during the period of Beijing Olympic Games. I felt so lucky surrounded by the halo of fortune that I thanked all my friends and collectors, because it was your love that motivated me to paint harder and better and finally reached beyond myself. I specially wanted to thank Mr. Jiang who became my collector and friend later on. During the period of the exhibition, about 30 works of mine were collected, including “Flying the Roses”, “Love Mood”, “Children’s Language”, “the Desire of Women”, “Summer Dream in different mood”, “the Season of Roses Blooming”, “Beautiful Lie” etc. During the exhibition time, people all over the world came to the 798 Art District and some collectors from Russia came to my exhibition about eight times hoping to collect 15 oil paintings of large size. They failed to negotiate with the gallery and finally turned to me wishing that they could make a deal with me in private. However, I couldn’t do this because it was this gallery that held the solo exhibition for me. More Importantly, I couldn’t let the foreigners have such a feeling that Chinese artists couldn’t keep their words and were inclined to betray their signed galleries because of my behavior. So I turned them down even thought these international collectors negotiated with me sincerely for about eight times. If the negotiation was successful and I made a deal with them, then the act would set a new record in the 798 Art District. However, I couldn’t betray the gallery that had paved me the way. I couldn’t be against my moral principle of being a human because of money. I couldn’t hurt the gallery in my own benefits. Thus I gave up several times when signing the contrast. In the face of huge interests brought by the international collectors I didn’t deviate from myself and thus felt the entity of being alive. It was the painting that made my world so peacefully.

  It is well known that Paris is the palace of world arts. In September 2008, Li Yu came from Paris for Beijing Olympic Games. She visited the 798 Art District. When she stepped out of one gallery, the gallery opposite with my solo exhibition caught her eyes. As soon as she stepped into my gallery and saw my works, she was deeply attracted by the interweaving emotions of female world and the unique color involved in my works. Therefore, she bought one of my albums of paintings. Every night when she viewed, she couldn’t forget the conversations between my works and her emotion. Her husband was full of curiosity why his wife would like the kind of painting like mine because she had already owned world famous paintings. However, she didn’t replace my works that could strike her deep heart with those world famous paintings. I arranged our meeting when she visited my gallery the second time. My peaceful and unique charm of mind tallied with my works. After close talking, she collected two of my works—which was supposed to be one before the talking—“Unquiet night”, “This restless summer”.

  I was invited to participate in an exhibition held in the Louvre Museum of Paris on December 8th, 2009 and my work “Hometown flowers” was selected. In Paris, Li Yu treated me to Sichuan hot pot. We two women talked about our love, family, marriage so much that I better understood the reason why she’d like to collect my works, because woman better understood woman. Besides, I also had meals with her husband, kids and friends. I felt this happy family residing in a remote country had a little nostalgia. We visited the Musee d’Orsay and Li Yu introduced one of her friends Zhang Mingxing—reporter of a column called “Mingxing Has An Appointment” of the Europe Times—to me and she wrote an essay titled <> about me later on. It was my works that improved the bonds between me and my collectors, because they could see my works hung in the living room or study room everyday. On my second trip to Paris, I loved this romantic city. On a drizzling night, I was expressed love by a banker when we first met. I enjoyed the intoxicated music operas, the company of a cute Chinese man after our encounter in a subway of Paris and the laughter when I stayed with girlfriends…
