Can the jewelry that makes the body shine with luxury still build a dialogue between self and reality?

章藻藻的成长经历了珠宝玉石发展的鼎盛时期。巨大的繁荣催生人们追逐玉石的高贵精致、生命寓意以及玉石所代表的文化认同。然而,艺术家始终质疑材料内在的精致本质,并且看到它们在雕刻中的价值。艺术家不仅感知材料的内在价值,也渗入其中她生命与文化的独特才华。没有了艺术家,精致材料变成一个绚烂的空壳,一个有可能被艺术家的活力和激情灌输的影子。我们对材料的感知依赖于传统思想,这是一种内在的价值;然而,必须在作品中感知到艺术家,才能通过艺术真正地看到一个新世界。
Zhangzaozao experienced the heyday of jewelry and jade development; the great prosperity which prompted people to pursue the nobility and delicacy of jade, as well as the cultural identity jade represents. However, the artist has always questioned the inherent exquisite nature of materials as intrinsic, and see their value in the craft of sculpture.The artist perceive the intrinsic value of the material, but praise the unique brilliance of the artist in how she infuse her life and culture into it. Without the artist, the material becomes an empty shell, a shadow of what it could be when instilled with the artist's vitality and passion. We depend upon traditional thought in our perception of the material, being a value inherent within; yet we must perceive of the artist within their creation to truly see a new world through the art.

在影片开始,浮光掠影的珠宝世界和沉重而紧迫感的鼓声形成对比,让精美珠宝的绚烂和它背后的空虚与不安交替展现。艺术家绕开珠宝奢华的幻影,在垃圾场里采拾废弃的玻璃 -– 一种最廉价卑微的材料。她用全部的激情为这些碎片雕琢翅膀和经脉,再向这些经脉中注入自己的鲜血,最终,碎片拥有生命和翅膀。它们在激情的女高音和嘈杂的机械噪声中,焕发出靓丽的光彩,飞翔天空。卑微变得灿烂,渺小变得伟大。生命冲动成为构建自我的核心动力,一个催生激情的世界在废墟中诞生。
At the beginning of the film, the flashy world of jewelry contrasts with the heavy and intense drums, alternating the gorgeous jewelry with the emptiness and uneasiness behind it. The artist bypasses the illusion of jewelry and picks discarded glass from the dump, one of the cheapest and humblest materials .With all her passion, she carved the wings and veins for these fragments, and then injected her own blood into them, and finally, the fragments have life and wings. They are in the passionate soprano and noisy mechanical clamour, they glow with beautiful radiance as they raise into the sky. Humble becomes brilliant, small becomes large. The impulse of life becomes the core driving force of their self-construction, and a world of passion is born in the ruins.
