在成都的A4美术馆里，艺术家杨冕历时五年完成的最新CMYK系列《二百六十万个点和西方艺术史》正在展出，这是艺术家杨冕在海外巡展20年后首次回到成都本地美术馆举办展览，也是他CMYK西方艺术史系列的首次亮相。

Inside A4 Art Museum in Chengdu, a CMYK exhibition named 2.6 Million Dots and Western Art History is being exhibited, and this is the first time that Yang Mian, the artist, has returned to Chengdu local art museum to hold an exhibition after 20 years of overseas tour. It is also the debut of his CMYK Western Art History series.

CMYK其实是印刷的4个颜色，青色、洋红、黄色和黑色，所有的印刷品都是由这4个颜色组成的。CMYK的作品里边的点都是不相交的，完全靠每个人视网膜的感应能力来获得，所以每个人看到的作品应该不完全一样。

CMYK refers to the four colors used in color printing. C stands for cyan, M for magenta, Y is yellow, and K is black. The color of the printed works are all composed of these four colors. The dots in CMYK works are all disjoint, and they are obtained entirely by the sensing ability of each person's retina, so the works that everyone sees might not be exactly the same.

杨冕的家在成都蓝顶艺术区里，毕业于四川美院的他也是成都蓝顶艺术区最初的创始人之一。这里曾经聚集了周春芽、张晓刚、何多苓等中国当代著名画家。在杨冕看来，蓝顶的核心就是艺术家自己。

Yang Mian, who graduated from Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, is one of the original founders of Chengdu Blue Roof Art Zone, where famous contemporary Chinese artists such as Zhou Chunya, Zhang Xiaogang, He Duoling and so on gathered here. In Yang Mian's view, the core of Blue Roof is the artists themselves.

除了生活的蓝顶艺术区，成都玉林社区对杨冕来说也是一个特别的存在。他年轻时很长一段时间都生活在这里，和众多成都本土艺术家们一起生活、学习，他认为是这些艺术家的宽容和对艺术的认识所带来的资讯滋养了自己。

For Yang Mian, Yulin in Chengdu is special. He lived here for a long time when he was young, living and studying with many local artists in Chengdu. He believes that the tolerance of those artists and their underestanding about the world of art benefited him greatly.

在玉林，与老板相识几十年的装裱工作室、时常光顾的玉林小酒馆，还有味道不变的老火锅店.......这些都是他记忆中的特殊留存。

The mounting studio where the owner knows Yang Mian for decades, the Little Pub in Yulin that Yang Mian pays visits frequently, and the old hot pot restaurant with the constant taste, all of which have kept Yang Mian's special and valuable memories.

在杨冕看来成都的玉林社区有着美国曼哈顿一样的气质，有人间烟火，也有人情味，这里的温暖和爱滋养着成都的艺术家。他说，艺术家需要为这座城市着想，得和城市连接起来，为这个城市做点事情。

As far as Yang Mian sees, Yulin in Chengdu is like Manhattan in New York, the US. This place witnessed people’s daily life, possessing a sense of human touch that nourishes all the heartwarming things. He said that artists should set their minds on the city, and all of their collective thoughts are about doing something great for Chengdu together.
