张墨颖，艺术家

“母体”一直是张墨颖创作的主题。对她来说，母体不仅是母亲，也是子宫，母亲是土地，轮回，坟墓。母亲是死亡，生命，爱情，镜子，有时候是无法挣脱的命运。符号和隐喻是艺术家通常使用的创作技巧，这些灵感来自于她最喜欢的神话。她在制作影像作品和绘画时希望达到的最简单的目的，就是为了让观众发现并探索它们。张墨颖，电影导演、艺术家，毕业于上海视觉艺术学院，曾就读于英国皇家艺术学院，现生活工作于河北。在电影和艺术项目，获得多个奖项，包含2018 iArt“青年艺术计划”一等奖获得者、2020-2021保时捷“中国青年艺术家双年评选”提名艺术家。

ZHANG MOYING，ARTIST(CHINA)

“Maternal body” has always been the main subject of Zhang Moying’s works. For her, maternal body is not only about the mother, but also about the womb；mother is the earth, reincarnation and tomb. Mother means death, life, love, mirror, sometimes the unescapable fate. Symbol and metaphor are the common techniques used by Zhang Moying which are inspired from her favorite mythology. The simplest goal she wants to achieve is that the audience could discover and explore by themselves through her videos and paintings.Zhang Moying, film director and artist, graduated from Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts, and Royal College of Art in London, now lives and works in Heibei. In the film and art filed, she has received several rewards, including 1st Prize of 2018 iArt Young Art Programme , nominee of 2020-2021 Porsche “ Young Chinese Artist of the Year” etc.
