何岸，艺术家

何岸的作品很大程度上反映着中国城市急剧变化所带来的情感，混凝土、广告牌和霓虹灯等城市符号被抽象成极致的的艺术语言。何岸始终向这些没有情感和意识的冰冷材料投射着真挚、热烈、暴力和浪漫的文学情绪，他广泛的兴趣则使得作品在地缘政治和美学层面都能与“当下”同步。何岸，1970 年生于武汉，肄业于湖北美术学院。他曾在世界各地举办过个展，包括：澳大利亚当代艺术中心、尤伦斯当代艺术中心、Daniel Templon 画廊、当代唐人艺术中心、没顶画廊、HdM 画廊；也曾参加过许多重要的国际群展，如：艺术长沙（2019），波普之上（余德耀美术馆，上海，中国，2016），后波普：东方遇见西方（萨奇美术馆，伦敦，英国，2014），卡内基国际艺术展（卡内基美术馆，匹兹堡，美国，2013），约会 2008（里昂当代艺术馆，里昂，法国，2008），真实的东西：来自中国的当代艺术（泰特美术馆）。 

HE AN，ARTIST(CHINA) 

He An's artworks largely reflect the emotions brought about by the rapid changes in Chinese cities. Urban symbols such as concrete, billboards and neon lights are abstracted into the ultimate artistic language.He An has always projected sincere, enthusiastic, violent, and romantic literary sentiments to these cold materials without emotion and consciousness. His extensive interests have enabled his works to be synchronized with the "present" in terms of geopolitics and aesthetics.He An, born in Wuhan in 1970, graduated from Hubei Academy of Fine Arts. His creation covers a variety of forms, often combining industrial materials to create installation scenes rich in sensory narratives. He has held solo exhibitions all over the world, including: Australian Contemporary Art Center, Ullens Center for Contemporary Art, Daniel Templon Gallery, Tang Contemporary Art Center, MadeIn Gallery, HdM Gallery; also participated in many important international group exhibitions, such as: Art Changsha (2019), Above Pop (Yuz Museum, Shanghai, China, 2016), Post-Pop: East meets West (Saatchi Art Museum, London, UK, 2014), Carnegie International Art Exhibition (Carnegie Art Museum, Pittsburgh, USA, 2013), Date 2008 (Lyon Museum of Contemporary Art, Lyon, France, 2008), the real thing: contemporary art from China (Tate Modern).
