法国雕塑家奥古斯特·罗丹(Auguste Rodin ) 曾说过：愿“自然”成为艺术家们唯一的女神。对于自然，要绝对地信仰。要确信它是永远不会丑恶的，要一心一意地忠于自然。

　　多年以前，当邓正龙先生还是一位酷爱摄影的年轻人时，“自然”这个女神已经深深地征服了他。仿佛是一种天生的使命感，促使他用手中的相机不断地记录着大自然中每一个美好的瞬间。弹指一挥间，十余年的时间过去了，邓正龙把人生中最宝贵的青春献给了他钟爱的大自然，而同时他也创作出了一大批高水准的摄影作品。这本《诗意行走——西部风光》的出版，是对邓先生十余年来拍摄的西部风光题材作品的一次总结和展示。翻开画册，您很快会被一幅幅美妙的画面和随之扑面而来的大自然清新、畅快的气息所感染：那些静穆的雪原，那些五彩斑斓的秋林，那些环环绕绕的梯田，那些波光粼粼的湖面……所有这一切，无不令阅读者为之触动心灵、开启心扉，体会到一种诗的意境，并进而惊叹于作者深厚的艺术造诣、精湛的拍摄技巧和用灵魂去感受自然的精神。

　　感谢邓正龙先生的《诗意行走——西部风光》带给我们的视觉享受和精神愉悦。而事实上为了本书内容方面的纯粹性，我们难以割舍却最终割舍了邓先生那些精美的人文古镇题材的作品。诚然，古镇题材中那些炊烟袅绕的青瓦屋顶、倾斜的门柱、斑驳的老墙……在给人以审美愉悦的同时也带给了人们多少岁月流逝、物是人非的惆怅与感动。

　　Hard-working Will Naturally Be Awarded

　　Auguste Rodin, a French sculptor, once said, “Wish Mother Nature be the only goddess for artists. Artists should always believe in nature, believe that it is never ugly and be loyal to it wholeheartedly.”

　　Mother Nature has dominated Mr. Deng Zhenglong thoroughly since he was still a young man interested in photography many years ago. He has persistently recorded every beautiful moment in nature with his camera as if it is his inborn mission. Mr. Deng has dedicated his most precious lifetime to his beloved nature and has created a great number of superb photographic works in the past ten years. Walking Poetically on the Land — Sights of the West is a summary and as well as a demonstration of Mr. Deng's hard work in western China for the past ten years. Opening the album, I am soon whelmed in the amazing photos of tranquil white plains, colorful autumn woods, rounding terraces, glittering lakes…I see the quality of a poem in Deng's art which touches my heart and opens my mind. The album is a great combination of Mr. Deng's masterly photography technique and his devotion to his dear lover — Mother Nature.

　　I am very grateful for the visual and mental pleasure that Mr. Deng's Walking Poetically on the Land —Sights of the West brings us. However, for the sake of purity of the contents of this album, we have to sacrifice some of his fancy works of the civilized old town which are about the rising wisps of smoke over black tiled roofs, inclining gateposts, blocky old walls…These subjects not only bring us aesthetic enjoyment but also some melancholy history of the past.

　　Wish Mr. Deng Zhenglong's Walking Poetically on the Land —Sights of the Civilized Old Towns will soon be published and feast the readers.

　　Wish Mr. Deng will make his own way on the path to the poetry.
