Joaquín Sorollay Bastida

154年前的今天（1863年2月27日），西班牙印象派大师华金索罗拉亚巴斯蒂达（Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida）出生于西班牙的瓦伦西亚。华金索罗拉西班牙著名的印象派画家。他1923年8月10日去世，享年60岁。是世界上出产作品最丰富的西班牙画家之一，目前世界各收藏在册共有2200余幅。

他善于人物和风景，也创作以历史为题材的大型油画，他能十分敏捷准确地捉捕人物的神情，他的大部分作品收藏在马德里塞罗拉博物馆（即他的旧居）。

他与同时代的美国画家约翰· 萨金特 John Singer Sargent， 以及美裔俄罗斯画家尼古拉·费欣 Nicolai Fechin 成為当今美國艺术家和艺术愛好者頌揚和追隨的三大19世紀末的艺术大师，激励了美国无数的当代画家们。
