在场画廊由Fabienne Leclerc于2001年在巴黎13街区创立。历经7年后，画廊于2013年11月搬到了玛黑区，并于2017年1月在巴黎北部开设了一个新空间。

2019年秋季，在场画廊将迁至巴黎近郊的罗曼维尔。新画廊Komunuma将在今年10月FIAC期间于一个重新翻修的30年代工业综合空间内揭幕，这是一个聚焦当代艺术的公共、私人项目协会。

在场画廊旨在推广法国及国际新晋艺术家，支持所代理的知名艺术家的长期发展。在场画廊致力于在博物馆、艺术机构倾力推广所代理艺术家的作品，并制作和编辑一系列艺术家图录与书籍。
