索卡艺术荣幸地宣布，我们将于2020年11月28日至2021年2月26日期间，与长期致力于推动生活美学的高雄坚山建设携手合作，推出艺术家齐简的《我用一颗种子创造了树》全新个展。此次展览延续齐简老师的「后花园」系列作品，「花园」是艺术家对于战火蹂躏后，残余景物的想望，一种公领域与私领域相互干涉的体制边缘。而「后」字则赋予了花园两层涵义，一是埋藏秘密与回忆的私有领地，再者可以解释为一种过渡地，具有「新」的意涵。穿越花园的飞机像一根尖锐的针，钉着观者的目光，悬在空中的的议题似乎可大可小，大至一种政权的入侵与威胁，小至孩提时代手握玩具飞机，凌空飞翔的记忆。

在全新作品《后花园：碎花面料１》中，具象的轮廓线或熟悉的符号已不复见，仅留下剪影般的抽象线条，像一种路线的指引，或是回归原始绘画的真理，带有自由的痕迹与生命力。齐简将「观看」本身具有的多重含意实践在其创作中，无论是从外在环境到心理层面，或是谈论绘画里的虚实辩证，都有一条隐形的疆界不断地重新选择，划分里外。而艺术家仅开辟一处花园即景，邀请您伸手触及。

12月5号展览开幕当日下午２点至4点，我们将邀请艺术家齐简老师，与国立台湾艺术大学美术学院院长陈贶怡教授进行一场深入浅出的《后花园－艺术对话》，针对展出的作品媒材与内容作详细的阐述，诚挚邀请热爱艺术的您一同参与。

Soka Art is proud to announce that from November 28, 2020 to February 26, 2021, we will cooperate with Kaohsiung Jianshan, which has been committed to promoting life aesthetics for a long time, to launch artist Chi Chien’s "I Use One Seed Creates Tree" new solo exhibition. This exhibition continues Chi Chien’s "Back Garden" series of works. The "Garden" is the artist's desire for the remnants of the scene after the war is ravaged, a kind of systemic edge of mutual interference between the public and private spheres. The word "after" gives the garden two meanings. One is a private domain where secrets and memories are buried, and the other can be interpreted as a transitional place, which has the meaning of "new". The plane passing through the garden is like a sharp needle, nailing the viewer's gaze. The issues hanging in the air seem to be large or small, as large as a regime’s invasion and threat, as small as a child holding a toy plane and flying in the sky. Memory.

In the new work "Back Garden: Floral Fabric 1", the concrete outlines or familiar symbols are gone, leaving only the silhouette-like abstract lines, which are like a kind of route guide or return to the truth of the original painting. With traces of freedom and vitality. Chi Chien puts the multiple meanings of "watching" into practice in his creations, whether it is from the external environment to the psychological level, or talking about the dialectics of virtuality and reality in painting, there is an invisible boundary that is constantly reselected, dividing the inside and outside. . However, the artist only opened up a garden, and you are invited to reach out.

On the opening day of the exhibition on December 5th, from 2 pm to 4 pm, we will invite artist Chi Chien to conduct an in-depth "Back Garden-Art Dialogue" with Professor Chen Benyi, Dean of the Academy of Fine Arts, National Taiwan University of Arts.
