王冬龄

　　徐洁，近三十余年对书法艺术的执着追求，从金华、深圳、杭州、北京，一路走来，一直勤奋努力，精进不已，在书法艺术创作上取得了极大成功，可喜，可贺!

　　徐洁的书法是书法艺术史上的一种时代波动，亦是书学文化流程里的一员，故而她的前程远大。究徐洁书法创作的动力于魅力，乃是发愤抒情的心旷神怡。她写书制法不是机械性的，而是心情有霞的发微，是情感式的创作或是情迫自然的一种流程。于是徐洁的书法与书法的创作过程能打动观众，激励自己也感染同道，不啻是一位性情之中的女艺术家。

　　徐洁顾不上别人了，自己来来回回，她甚至撇开读者观众，至少最近二年一意孤行。她不再满足于两点之间的委婉缠绵甚至延伸，古人的情绪太温文尔雅，完全产生不了错觉，只有错觉能安慰装修当代生活，和徐洁电话里聊到错觉时她笑得很嘹亮，这显然是对批评的认同，因为出走的结果在这。表达在作品里，点线面混淆了，色彩出其不意很提神，从熟练回归生辣，加上构成的雅拙直接进入三度乃至四维空间，错觉被潜伏等待打开。在这样是作品前打量久了艺术家和观众都会怀疑自己，调整是必须的。

　　她已经从书法的路上出走，走得很远了。她的这一批作品，有传统的草书，更多的是打破书法边界的实验性的作品，有的如抽象水墨、有的如观念绘画、有的如民间痕迹很重的图案……它们色彩斑斓，不拘一格，从心所欲，汪洋恣肆。

Comments on Xu Jie’s Calligraphic Imagery Exhibition

   Wang Dongling

    Ms. Xu Jie, in her insistent pursuit of calligraphy over 30 years up to this day – a journey of achievements all along, covering Jinhua, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, and Beijing – has always been striving diligently, forging ahead unremittingly, and has achieved a huge success in the artistic creation of calligraphy, this really gratifies us and is worth congratulations!

    Zheng Zhusan

      Ms. Xu Jie’s calligraphy is a surge of the times in the history of the calligraphy, as well as a participant in the course of the calligraphy study culture, so she has excellent prospects. To sum up after a study, the impetus and charm of her calligraphic creation are the spiritual relaxation/freedom and happiness of determined emotional expression. She performs calligraphy out of the elevation of her feelings like a colorful rainbow after rainfall, and never mechanically; her calligraphy is an emotional creation or a flow of natural emotional compulsion. Thus Ms. Xu Jie’s calligraphy and the process of her calligraphic creation can move audiences, encouraging herself and her fellows, and really she is a female artist of temperament. 
 
    Bao Chuanjiang

    Xu Jie could no longer pay attention to others, but goes to and fro by herself. She even has left aside readers and audiences, and has gone her own way at least in the recent 2 years. She is no longer content with the roundabout lingering between two points and even their extension, the ancients had too gentle and cultivated sentiments, completely free of illusions to be induced, while only illusions can console and embellish contemporary life. Xu Jie laughed very resonantly when I chatted about illusions, and this is obviously the acquiescence to the criticism, because the result of the go-out is here. As expressed in the works, points, lines, and planes are confused, unexpectedly the colors are very refreshing, returning to keen proficiency from skillfulness, additionally the constructed elegant innocence directly enter a three-dimensional and even a four-dimensional space, illusions are hidden and await opening. Gazing long in front of the works, both the artist and viewers will doubt themselves, and an adjustment is necessary.

Sun Zhenhua

She has already gone out from the road of calligraphy, and gone a very long distance. Her works in this group include the traditional cursive script, and more the experimental works breaking up the boundaries of calligraphy, some are like an abstract ink-wash painting, some like a concept painting, and some like the patterns with very heavy folk marks……they are bright-colored, follow no set form, have their own way, and overflow with boldness and unrestraint.

     Wei Ligang

The famous modern painter Huang Binhong achieved great artistic success in Jinhua where he was born, and Xu Jie waved her sword under a tall emerald tower; her father, who embroidered robes for others, lived leisurely between mountains and streams; along with the auspicious Purple Air coming from the east, an eagle soared over cliffs. She visited calligrapher and painter Wang Duo who dwelt in an easygoing manner in Mengjin, the unremitting calligrapher Fu Shan strove diligently for continuous improvement, likewise Xu Jie’s studio’s work and research are in full swing impressively, and the “Heroic-Phoenix” Xu Jie shines eminently in the world of cursive script. The representative poet Liang Xiaobin of the Misty Poetry --- From the steps paved in troubled times flies out a splendid butterfly.
