　　题材和形式都应放开想象力。

　　当代不是时间的约束，当代是开放的，充满变数的不确定，意味着无限的可能。

　　现实的表像之下藏着另一层现实，不可言喻。艺术可以表达却不可破解。要挖到这一层，需放松理智，利用想象和感觉，美感是决定性的。

　　题材上不标新立异，只做司空见惯的人和物。

　　最重要的是构思、构图、装置、色彩。这些将构成别样的现实，简约、质朴、简明、肯定。

　　“简单”现实做不到，可艺术办得到。

　　作品之外的东西，我们称之为“观念”。

　　思考作品，只可谋一时，不可谋一生。

　　《W先生》《L小姐》都已开始。

　　现在的工作方式较以前有很大的不同，过程充满变异。

　　这使来自上帝的灵感有缝隙渗透进来。每天工作都像在探险，理智与直觉难分彼此，合作默契而愉快。

　　雕塑最根本的目的是创造一种美，一种属于雕塑的独特美，其它一切都是附加物。例如作品产生的背景，创作动机和意义。

　　这个时代对美的定义似乎是“媚俗”，其实不然，美是能触及灵魂的忧伤之物。

　　现实中的童话，童话中的现实，二者之间互依共生。

　　板着面容的恶作剧。

　　巨制的玩笑值得人们严肃的对待。

　　Use imagination on both theme and form.

　　The present age is not a restriction of time, it is an open era, full of variable uncertainty, which means unlimited possibility.

　　Another layer of reality is hidden under the surface of reality, which cannot be expressed by words. Art can be expressed but cannot be deciphered. To reach this layer, it is necessary to relax the mind and use imagination as well as feelings; a sense of beauty is decisive.

　　Do not create new styles in theme; just choose common people and things.

　　Conception, composition, device and color are the most important. These will form a different reality, simple, modest, concise and certain.

　　Reality cannot be “simple”, but art can.

　　We call things outside works “ideas”.

　　Thinking about works is only effective in the short run not the long run.

　　Both “Mr. W” and “Miss. L” have begun.

　　The present way of working is very different from before.

　　Process is full of changes, which gives inspiration from God the apertures to penetrate into. Everyday work is like exploration, reason and intuition are hard to distinguish from each other, and they cooperate well and pleasantly.

　　The most essential aim of sculpture is to create a kind of beauty, a kind of unique beauty belonging to sculpture, and anything else is just accessory such as the background, motive and significance of creation.

　　The definition of beauty in this age seems to be “kitsch”. Actually it is not so, beauty is a sentimental thing that can touch people’s souls.

　　Fairy tales in reality and the reality in fairy tales are dependent on and coexisting with each other.

　　Pranks, keeping a straight face.

　　Huge creation of jokes is worth treating seriously.
