新加坡南洋艺术馆，致力于发掘及推介具有南洋艺术风格的艺术作品，积极策划举办新加坡、中国、台湾等东南亚艺术家的国际艺术交流活动。对推动中国和新加坡及南洋的优秀艺术家的作品扮演着积极地角色。此次参加北京亚洲艺术博览会的艺术家有新加坡艺术家许铁生(已故)、雕塑家蔡汶家、陶艺家林华俊和中国中央美院画家戚弘(QiHong)。

　　戚弘(QiHong) ， 1963年出生于中国辽宁。1987年毕业于鲁迅美术学院，研修于中国中央美院。擅长于中国水墨画、油画、壁画，笔法入神。1999年出版《画家戚弘(QiHong)作品集》。曾有10年之久对永乐宫壁画进行深入研究，临品被日本和台湾收藏家收藏。2010年旅居新加坡，2011年《腾—天之御》神马水墨系列作品在新加坡醉花林和新加坡法国文化艺术中心隆重展出，得到了各界人士的关注。

　　Artist Qi Hong

　　Qi Zhongyong alias Qi Hong was born in 1963 in Liaoning Province, China. He graduated from the Shenyang Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts and pursued further studies in the China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1987. He is highly proficient in Chinese ink, oil and mural paintings. He published “A Collection of Paintings by Qi Hong” in 1999. He spent over ten years studying the classical murals of the Yongle Temple in Shanxi Province and his hand-painted copies of the murals were collected by Japanese and Taiwanese collectors. He moved to Singapore in 2010 and his new series of horses paintings “Galloping in the Skyline” were launched and widely appreciated at the Singapore Chui Huay Lim Club and SOCIETE GENERALE Gallery - Alliance Française de Singapour in 2012.
