初看邹琼辉近期创作的综合材料“蝉怀-重生”系列作品，留给我的印象是“简单”的。但我又不甘心被这种“简单”所迷惑，经过细细品读，我产生了诸多疑惑：她为什么用“蝉”这种符号作为自己创作的主题语言形式？为什么用中国剪纸艺术作为画面的肌理材质，以这种方式来进行创作？通过与她交流，才领悟了她作品想表达的目的和寓意。

　　她从书商处购进大量的时尚刊物，并聘请下岗工人与残疾人员为她剪成千万个大小各异的蝉作为创作素材。用并置、同构与异构等艺术创作方法，将保留时尚消费痕迹的各类蝉，通过拼贴构建作品的基础。然后把将配好的矿物色颜料喷洒在画面上，等到画面干透后，再在画面上进行酌情艺术剥脱和撕裂。不断循环重复制作，最终达到所需的艺术效果。这种艺术创作方式，看似必然，实则偶然，浑然天成。

　　这一切在我看来，邹琼辉的这种创作手段真正展现了她独特而深刻的语言表达形式。从《跨越赖河》、《梦溪笔谈》、《百年之痒》、《太阳最红》等作品里，读者能领略更多的是精神层面上的东西。用蝉本身的自然特性来解释人类生成的价值和意义，蝉？禅？从浮躁与浑浊中救赎自己，还原真身。

The Significance of Revival

An interpretation of ZouqiongHui's new artworks

　　My initial impression is that Zou Qionghui's mixed media artworks 'cicada- revival' series is slightly simple, while I see them for the first time. But I'm not reconciled to be confused by such a impression. After a careful study, I fill with many questions about why she uses the symbol 'cicada' as the theme language of her own creation and why she uses Chinese paper-cut art as a the skin texture materials of her pictures. By deeply communicating with her, I gradually understand the purpose and implication which her artworks want to express.

　　She purchases a large number of fashion publications from the bookseller, and hires laid-off workers and persons with disabilities to cut the ten million different sizes cicadas to be used as the creation material. With the isomorphic or heterogeneous artistic expression ways, Zou Qionghui collages various kinds of cicadas with the fashion consuming characteristics to form the artworks' base, and then sprays a good mineral pigment on the canvas. After the canvas being completely dried in the air, the artworks further need to be torn, pulled and grabbed somewhere. This artistic processing order is continuously repeated, which made the artworks natural and interesting.

　　In my opinion, this artistic expression method of Zou Qionghui is novel and unique. From her artworks such as 'across the Lai River', 'Meng Xi Bi Tan', one hundred years itch', and' the most red sun', the readers may fall into the spiritual thought. Because these artworks explain the value and meaning of human survival with the natural characteristics of the cicadas. We should be like cicadas to balance our heart, understand ourselves, transcend ourselves, search in our minds, and finally rescue ourselves from the impetuous and muddy social consciousness.
