看到许莹的画,无意中配合的竟然是这首歌,我咬着手指头,睁大眼睛看着画面上各人面孔上的烦恼、矫饰、倦怠、逍遥,烙印在皮肤每一纹路上,人世间关于感情的悲欢在这里启幕,又在那里落场,而我最终得以升级当了观众,如此好运。
如果说基于相同性别,进而产生对女性的关注,那么观看许莹的绘画更能感受到的是一种体贴入微的“在场感”,这突出地表现在画家对于主体或主题不同的作品研究中。画家善长于将不同类型人物之间可资比较的因素发掘出来,大处着眼,既不是单纯的对所谓女性自我或女性写作的发现和肯定,更没有纠缠于一些细枝末节性的问题,而是在广泛吸收、融会贯通的基础上,把握住了女性在某一特殊时段的基本精神和价值理念,将其作为一种有效的观照资源借以对当代人物绘画进行整体考察和描述。
与立足于现代性和女性主义基本价值立场的全新发现相比,这些画作更突出的特点在于画家对研究对象的“感同身受”,以及由此获得的一种学术研究的“在场感”。美术评论与研究如果仅仅凭借冷静睿智的理性进行客观考察,可能很难体会到那种“灵魂的探险”带来的发现的颤栗与精神的狂喜。一名思路开阔而且眼光敏锐的女性画家,在绘画的研究上应该具有更为明显的优势,因为作为“同呼吸、共命运”的相同性别者,更容易触摸到作为研究对象的青年女性那种内在的生命律动,更能体会到其人生历程中经历的生命奇景与生存困境——《守望幸福系列》正是在这里显示出了画家极大的优势。
在许莹的绘画中没有很浓郁的思辨色彩,但独立、自由、细微的现代性和价值理念作为基本的精神贯穿始终。这样,许莹作为一个研究者既站在相当的高度,也获得了一个新的切入视角,借此实现了对现实人物的描绘,隐藏在背后的更为丰富的意蕴在此被有效地开掘出来。
如果说,线条能够给人物带来美感
那么,水墨的匀染就能够给线条带来生命力
画面所体现的便是线条感
因此,浓淡相宜的水墨交融便是画面的灵魂
水墨的匀染是一种低调的华丽,是一种跨越时间的记忆。在许莹的画面中,稳重的黑,希望的白,迷惘的灰。低调的三种颜色,诠释了从少年时代一路走来的微妙人心。不管她外表的妆容多么斑斓变化,不管她一周七天的行头是如何的丰富缤纷,但是时间久了,最后你总会发现,在伊人色彩万千的表象下,总有这么一个内心的小小角落,包含着不可对人诉说的秘密,百转千回的隐秘欲望和直白坦诚的梦想。只有那一点不被人察觉的颜色,却是她变奏的心理旋律中永远不变的音符。那是许莹笔下流淌出来的雅致和理性,克制和隐忍,复杂与包容。
在经历长期的专业锻炼后,许莹自由驾驭了一种自我面貌的造型技巧,创造出一种形式新颖、形象特征鲜明的现代人物画风。而这必须吸收丰富的解剖学等知识,将客观写实性与中国画的主观写意性结合起来。我们从她的《幸福的守望》、《暧昧》等作品中,可以真切地感受到东西方艺术和谐交融的美妙神韵,体会到艺术家的绘画技能和奇思妙想。其作品《守望幸福之三》为例,富有魅力的水墨人物、将传统绘画的造型与现代生活形象紧密地结合起来,含糊梦幻的场景,演化为极繁复的寓意,达到了极高形神传递,一切在不明确中打动着年轻的心。
《守望幸福系列》从女性的直觉感受出发,经过理性的提升,有了新发现。画家由单个出现的女性图景出发,在不确定的各种环境因素下发生事件,凸显了一种实际存在的状态表征,是现代社会无处躲藏的焦虑、迷惘,以及自我破碎感的隐喻性表达。主体与客体之间的心心相印、息息相关,带来的是深入人物深层肌理的颖悟与体察,是对一个个虚构而又鲜活的纸上生命的灵魂触摸。在若干画面中,画家犀利地表现出,由爱情自由观为前提的各种关系,画家虽然以轻松自在的笔墨描绘出了这一状态,却又深深撞击着观者的思维,这使得画家与观者达到了一种“一枝一叶总关情”的理想化的“不隔”状态。
在许莹的个展《暧昧的幸福》序言中有这样一句话:“假若一切均可用语言表述清楚,我就会失去幸福的方向……”

背景歌曲还在继续,再次翻看许莹画册时觉得有点汗颜,对的,这是否证明我们现在已经老皮老肉,金钟罩铁布衫真是谁都能练就的,只要经历几次求而不得。很多事情,真像开玩笑一样,恍若隔世这种词语当真存在?想必是的,所以说要做好梦,很多事情也跟梦境差不多,早已分不出真假。太过追究,不作兴的。所以说,处变不惊,甚至享受。
渐渐的想的事情有了眉目,急躁的心更开始宁静……如果说许莹的绘画,轻盈的出自内心的真心热忱,闪耀着美好性格的光芒。要有真正的自信,才能做到大气与谦和,活得快乐不快乐,只是取决于事主的是否满足。从“我住在一个比我自己大不了多少的星球上”到现在能够有机会看得远一点,做得远一点,真好。
不知不觉,许莹笔下那些生动的人物轻巧的进入了我的心灵,那抹俏皮的笑仍在我心底深刻记忆,远远看街角仍有人背影似你……

Intuitive Direction - See Xu Ying's Paintings

When I saw Xu Ying's paintings, inadvertently combine with that song. I bit my finger and stared at the figures of the paintings with troubled, namby-pamby and unhurried expressions, imprinted in every texture of their skin. The joys and sorrows of feeling start and end here, and finally I become an audience, so good luck.
If it is the reason of both of us are female, and consequently we focuses on women. Then the appreciation of Xu Ying's paintings makes you feel more like considerate "the sense of presence", which prominently shows the study on works of different subjects or topics. Painters are good at exploring the comparable factors among different types of characters. Pay attention to the important points. Neither the discovery and affirmation of the so-called female self or women's writing, nor dwell on some of the minutiae of issues. Based on broad absorption and digestion, she seizes women's basic spirit and values during a particular period which becomes an effectively visual resource to overall investigate and describe contemporary figurative painting.
Compared with the new discovery based on the basic value position of modernity and feminism, the more prominent feature of these paintings is painter's "empathy" to object of study , and thus obtained the "the sense of presence" of academic research. If art review and research is investigated only by calm and rational wisdom, it is hard to feel the thrill of discovery and spiritual ecstasy from "soul of adventure". An open-minded and discerning female painter should have more obvious advantage on the research of paintings because the painter, as the same sex of the same fate, is easier to touch young women's inner rhythm of life and can better understand the experienced wonders of life and survival dilemma during the course of women's life - "Happiness Catcher Series" is here that shows the painter's great advantage.
There is no rich speculative color in Xu Ying's painting, but, independence, freedom, subtle modernity and values, as the basic spirit, throughout her paintings. In this way, Xu Ying as a researcher, not only stands considerable height, but also gets a new cut angle, to achieve the depiction of real people and effectively dig much richer meaning hidden in the background.
If we say that line can bring beauty to the character
Then, ink level dyeing can bring vitality to the line

Therefore, shades affordable ink blending is the soul of painting
Ink level dyeing is a kind of low-key gorgeous, and is a kind of memory across time. In Xu Ying's paintings, solid black, hopeful white, lost grey are low-key colors which explains delicate hearts from the youth along the way. No matter how much makeup she looks, regardless of how rich and colorful her costume of seven days a week, you will always find at last that, under her thousands of appearance, there is always such a small corner of the heart containing the secret which will not tell anyone, the hidden secret by thousands of turns and twists and straightforward and candid dream. Only the color without being noticed is the immutable music note in her variable psychological melody. It was the elegant and rational, restraint and forbear, and complex and tolerance from Xu Ying's brush.
After experiencing long-term professional training, Xu Ying can freely control a kind of self-face's modeling techniques, and create a modern character style with a new form and the image of the distinctive features. And it has to absorb a wealth of knowledge on anatomy, and combines objective realism with freehand subjective. We can truly experience the great verve of harmonious blend between Eastern and Western art, and feel the painter's drawing skills and ideas from her "Happiness Catcher", "Ambiguous". For example, her "Happiness Catcher III" has glamorous ink characters, and can closely combines traditional painting style with modern life image. Vague dream scenes evolve into a very complex meaning, and reach the pass of extreme form and spirit. Therefore, all impress the young hearts without explicitly.
"Happiness Catcher Series" starts from female intuition, through rational improvement, and then has new discoveries. The painter starts from a single female picture appearing, events happening under the various environmental factors of uncertainty, highlighted the actually existed state characterization which is the metaphorical expression of anxiety, confusion, and a sense of self-crushing in modern society. The soulmate and closely related between subject and object brings the deep-seated perspicacity and understanding on character and the touch of soul on fictional but vivid life on paper. In several paintings, the painters sharply show that various relationships based on the premise of love freedom. Although the painter depicts the state with easy and comfortable ink, deeply impact the viewer's mind. This makes the painter and the viewer reach a idealized "undivided" state of "A branch and a leaf always have a relationship with love".
The preface of "Ambiguous Happiness" in Xu Ying's solo exhibition: "If all can clearly express by language, I would have lost the direction of happiness ......"

The background music continuing, when look again Xu Ying's album, I felt a bit embarrassed. Right, does this show that we now have the old skin and the old meat? The achievement is not available to anyone. You must experience several times of pains without gains. A lot of things like a joke. Do the words of "As if a generation had passed" exist? Yes, so that people say have good dream. A lot of things are similar with the dream a lot were about, and we are already can not tell what is true and what is false. If too much holding, there is no happy. Thus, keep calm and even enjoy.
Gradually, the confused things are clear and the irritable heart is beginning to quiet ... ... If Xu Ying's paintings are gracefully from the sincere enthusiasm of her heart which shine the light of a better character, she must have real confidence in order to be magnificent and courteous. Living happily or unhappily depends on whether the person concerned satisfied or not. From "I live in a planet which is not much bigger than me" to the state of I can have the opportunity to look further ahead and do better now, it is really good.
Unconsciously, those vivid characters painted by Xu Ying came into my mind, and that playful smile still in my heart is deeply remembered. There is still a back in the far corner like you.
