我这幅作品画的是我教了三年的学生，我对他们非常熟悉。学生们当时正面临美术高考的压力，我看到在他们活泼的表情里既充满希望同时有似乎一脸无辜和茫然。更多的却是青春期的焦虑。由此我萌生了要画一幅表现他们这种人生状态的作品。我是采用写生的工作方式来完成作品的，因为我觉得这样更加能够调动我创作的激情，直接面对学生们鲜活生动的个性给我带来的信息量要远远大于利用照片进行描绘。写生时一个双向互动的过程，在极大地丰富了我的感受性的同时也是对我的挑战，一般在作画之前我先有一个大致的想法，但实施起来时常会出现很多偶然因素和随机性，这需要我在技术上有准确地判断和控制力，这包括了人物造型和构图的安排，色彩的运用，用笔的急缓轻重等等。如何发挥得恰到好处是贯穿始终的难题。这帮孩子是美术高考前上最后的一次专业课程也是我担当他们的最后一课，这就是作品题目的由来。

　　This painting shows the students having been taught by me for more than three years, and I am very familiar with them.At that time,they were confronted with the stress of the college entrance examination in the fine arts.I picked up that their lively expressions were not only full of hope but also apparently filled with innocence and confusion. While it was more likely to be the adolescent anxiety. For this consequence,I had conceived the idea of drawing a work to display this kind of their states . I adopted the method of sketching to accomplish my work, because I thought this way could motivate my creation passion,and through direct confrontation ,the number of information gotten by students’ lively characters would outweigh the description by taking photos.Sketch was a mutual interaction process,which hugely enriched my feelings as well as a challenge for me.Generally speaking,I would have a rough idea before painting,but there were always some occasional factors and randomness appearing when painting.This required me to possess technologically precise judgment and control,including figure modeling and the composition of a picture,the application of colors,the thickness of brush and so on.How to fulfill properly was a tough problem that ran through.The last class before the college entrance examination was taught by me, which was the origin of this work.
