 When you wander through woods with heavy shadows and dappled light and suddenly come upon an open space, a green meadow surrounded by stately trees, or a sparkling stream, you wonder why man has lost his relationship to nature and the beauty of the earth, the fallen leaf and the broken branch. If you have lost touch with nature, then you will inevitably lose relationship with another. Nature is not just the flowers, the lovely green lawn or the flowing waters in your little garden, but the whole earth with all the things on it.

应当成为我们的骄傲、

也许我们与古人看到过同样的竹，

这让我感到时光的流动和广阔。

透过竹看到它们、捕捉它们。

这是一种将它们传递给下一代的方式。

当下希望透过照片，

望着同样的风景，

分享同样的喜悦，

甚至千万年后的人们所居住的世界，

丰富的大自然依然存在。

看到同样的景观，

也能有所感动——这就是我的愿望。

艺术家简介

屠春1982年出生于中国杭州，幼年时期就非常热爱摄影。和所有的青年一样，屠春痴迷于摄影。和其他青年不同的是，屠春决定永远摄影。他探寻自身的文化根源，以新的视角，重读中西古典文化。并继续以现代的技法，进行探索研究，叙述着自己内心对外部世界的感悟。曾参加2011年亚历山大当代影像 双年展。2011年举办“镜头下的五种感觉”个展。2016年《杭州人家》参展 中国平遥国际摄影节。2019年《当代摄影中的大画幅》浙江三十人摄影展等。 2019年《监控室》个展。

TUCHUN (b.1982)

TuChun was Born in Hangzhou, a beautiful city with the fame of its fabulous landscape. When he was a child, he began to obsess with photography. Later, when growing up, he decided that he would take photography as his life career. As an artist and professional photographer, he has started exploring his cultural roots and combining them with Chinese and Western artistic perspectives. He believes in using modern and classic photographic techniques to explore and research his perception of the natural world but with a contemporary interpretation.

Tuchun's works were also gain a wide range of acknowledgement in many art events. For examples, he participated in Biennale di Alessandria 2011, and he held a solo exhibition "Five Feelings Under the Lens". In 2016, his "Hangzhou Family" serials participated in China Pingyao International Photography Festival. In 2019, he participated in the group show "The View From The View Camera " in the Zhejiang photographers exhibition. In 2019, his solo show of "Monitoring Room" was presented in Hangzhou.
