哥釉，顾名思义是五大名窑中“哥窑”特色的一类瓷器统称，最大的特点就是瓷器釉层满布开片，又称“冰裂纹”、“金丝铁线”或“百圾碎”。

这件哥釉盘口螭耳瓶（见图），高22.9厘米，口径8厘米，胎体厚重，釉面光泽，品相完美。瓶为盘口，口沿直壁，直颈鼓腹，圈足外撇，肩部与颈部间置一对螭耳，造型古朴雅致，落落大方。纹理错落有致，更是别有韵味。

This brother glaze pan mouth ear jar (see Figure) is 22.9 cm high and 8 cm in diameter. It has a thick carcass, shiny glaze and perfect appearance. The bottle has a dish mouth, the mouth is along the straight wall, the neck is straight, the belly is bulging, the ring feet are turned out, and a pair of ears are placed between the shoulder and neck. The shape is simple and elegant. The texture is scattered and has a unique charm.

Ge kiln is a rare treasure in the traditional porcelain making process of the Han nationality. It is one of the five famous kilns in the Song dynasty recorded in the literature of the Ming Dynasty.
