艺术家张雪瑞上海首次个展《疏离之物》将于2015年5月9日下午4点于MAO SPACE衡山坊开幕，届时将展出其多件2015年最新创作作品。该展览将持续至6月28日。

“面对物（即具体衣物）所承载的社会／文化／个人的内涵和意义，艺术家张雪瑞思考如何僭越日常物的限定，揭开其不同层次的内涵，而解开物的秘密的关键钥匙就是新颖的方法论。

张雪瑞的作品充分体现了个人的胆识和睿智，她的作品既解放了物的原意，又赋予物以新意。她把分解的作品置于并列、对峙和对话的关系，让人在形式中感悟物存在的不同方式及其关系，形成了独特而个性的叙事语言。”

Artist ZHANG Xuerui’s first solo exhibition in Shanghai “Alienated Substance” will be launched at 4pm on 9th May, MAO SPACE Heng Shan Fang, art works fulfilled in 2015 will be unveiled on this occasion. The exhibition will last till 28th June.

“Facing the social/ cultural/ personal connotation and meaning carried by objects (i.e. specific in clothing), the artist ZHANG Xuerui thinks about how to go beyond the limitation of everyday objects to uncover their meaning at different levels. The key to unlock the secret of objects is novel methodology.

ZHANG Xuerui’s works fully embodies her own courage and wisdom. Her works not only frees the original meaning of an object, but also endows a new meaning of it. She sets the decomposed works in juxtaposition, confrontation and dialogue relation, making people perceive different ways an object exists and their relations, and forming a unique and personalized narrative language.”
