香格纳影像室自去年开放以来，已面向公众推出十期放映专场，精选呈现了超过六十部来自香格纳影像资料库的影像作品；同时也收到了众多艺术研究者、艺术院校师生和国内外艺术研究机构的观影预约。为了建立一个更丰富、开放的影像艺术交流平台，香格纳影像室在此特向国内外影像艺术创作者发出邀请，希望有更多优秀的影像艺术作品加入香格纳影像资料库，以期多方位呈现当代影像艺术作品。

Since its opening last year, ShanghART Video Room has launched ten screenings for the public and selected more than sixty video works from the its video archive to screen. At the same time, the ShanghART Video Room has welcomed teachers and students from arts research institutions at home and abroad to make appointments for viewing. In order to establish a rich and open platform for the exchange of video art, the ShanghART Video Room hereby invites domestic and foreign video artists to submit their work to the ShanghART Video Archive in hopes of presenting a multifaceted perspective of contemporary video art.

香格纳影像室 于2017年面向公众开放，是一个专为当代影像艺术研究者、收藏者和爱好者提供小型放映和沙龙活动的非营利空间。影像室定期举行影像作品放映和现场解析研讨活动，每次活动放映一部或多部作品，以现场解析、对谈、讨论的方式，对作为个体的艺术家及其作品进行深度的了解，并以艺术家及其作品作为出发点，对相关的艺术现场和情景进行延伸解读。

此外，影像室也长期为公众开放预约观影通道。

ShanghART Video Room opened to the public in 2017. It is a non-profit space for small-scale screenings and salon events for contemporary video art researchers, collectors and enthusiasts. The video room regularly conducts video screenings and on-site seminars. Each event screens one or more works. Through on-site analysis, conversation, and discussion, the artist and their particular works can be more deeply understood. The artist and work serve as a starting point for the extended unraveling of related art scenes and circumstances.

In addition, the Video Room is open to the public for an extended period of time.

香格纳影像资料库 于2007年建立，已收集了近六百部当代影像艺术作品，资料库同时设于香格纳画廊上海、北京空间。对接香格纳影像室定期的沙龙和放映活动，现已开放三百多部精选影像作品。正在进行的工作：

a. 建立和维护艺术家（或艺术项目）影像资料档案，目前资料库内建成档案已超过50个。

b. 为影像艺术的学术研究和项目活动提供推介、交流平台。与国内外各大美术馆、艺术电影（动画）节、艺术院校和研究机构建立长期合作，提供观看和咨询服务。

c. 作品数据保存、放映和传送的设备和技术支持。

d. 创作者权利和影像作品版权的保护。

The ShanghART Video Archive was established in 2007 and has collected nearly 600 contemporary video art works. The archive is also located in ShanghART Gallery Shanghai and Beijing. More than 300 selected videos have been screened at the regular salons and screening events at the ShanghART Video Room. Ongoing work:

a. Establish and maintain archives for artists (or art projects). There are currently more than 50 archives built in the database.

b. Promote and exchange platforms for academic research and project activities in video/film art. Establish long-term cooperation with major art galleries, film festivals (including animation), art colleges and research institutes at home and abroad, providing viewing and consulting services.

c. Equipmentand technical support for the preservation, screening, and transmission of video works.

d. Creator rights and copyright protection of video works.
