身為當代藝術家，要如何衡量自己的繪畫人生?能讓個人成長，具挑戰性，有意義而可以給自己樂在其中的工作。就是我退休於建築界後，回到無生平靜和諧快樂，天天畫畫的生活。

　　觀畫者看到自在噴潑的油彩，正是畫家情感繪畫經驗的宣洩。大膽創新，不受束縛，書法線條表現抽象油畫特質。特定風格看勢成型，一切皆美。

　　1.從生活中取材：喜歡遊山玩水，2011年以黃山九寨溝、合歡山為題。2012則以住家對面觀音山畫出33觀音山，將生活感情大地美景，浩翰宇宙，躍然畫布油彩中。

　　2.多樣美麗色彩：師法自然的色彩，鮮艷沉穩多變，所有畫作收藏者應該會喜歡和他對話。色彩加上流動的光線，自然大氣的山河景象，變得有氣勢又充滿感情。

　　3.宇宙力量的包覆：大自然的造型和潑彩顏色、光線互相撞擊。時而大片塗抹，時而書法線條飛舞，時而滴彩暈亮，時而黑暗如夜。氣順自然豁然於胸，繪畫的快樂、空虛、無生、滿足、謙讓，正如宇宙自然的威力，躍然于畫布之上。

　　4.爵士樂似的質感：作畫時尤喜爵士樂，輕快深沈的節奏和潑彩線面相互配合，而空間放開交叉古樸、激昂、空虛如風，筆觸如鼓手精準又快速氣勢磅魄。

　　5.空間的自我風格：潑彩自由自在，一些不確定的空間效果，產生了創新的自我風格。完成了畫作另一不同經驗美感。契合觀畫者喜歡欣賞。

　　大氣于外，返虛入內，萬物衡量太空，長風遊於象外，無窮美感、空靈氣勢、幻化色彩。謹以潑彩自在，大氣山河和諧意境，詮釋展出，感恩你的觀賞厚愛。

　　Contemporary artists often reflect on how best to evaluate their artistic careers and the key is invariably work that promotes individual growth, is challenging, enjoyable and has meaning. It was only after retiring from the world of architecture that I was able to embrace the life of calmness and harmony that comes with being able to paint every day. The freestyle splashing of oil colors seen by viewers represents the release through which the emotions of the artist give voice to experience – boundless bold innovative works and calligraphic lines that express the very nature of abstract oil painting. Through this combination a certain style takes shape and true beauty is depicted.

　　1.Life-oriented subject material: I have a passion for traveling and in 2011 produced works based on Jiuzaigou, Mount Huangshan in China and Hohuan Mountain in Taiwan. In 2012, I painted "33 Faces of Kuanyin Mountain" which is directly opposite my home. Through such pieces I try to infuse the canvas and medium with personal feelings about life, the beauty of nature and the vastness of the universe.

　　2.Wide ranging beautiful colors: My works strive to emulate the brilliance, solemnity and changeability of natural color, thereby establishing a dialogue with art collectors everywhere. The combination of color and flowing lines of light imbue the natural atmosphere of the landscape vista with a sense of imposing power and passion.

　　3.Embracing the power of the universe: The natural shapes, splashed colors and light interact in ways that are eye-catching - large blocks of color, dancing calligraphy lines, bright drips of color and sometimes hues that are as dark as night. The qi flows naturally through the brushwork and the canvas brims with the natural force of the universe in the form of joy, emptiness, earthly contentment, satisfaction and humility in painting.

　　4.Creating a jazz-like texture: I enjoy listening to jazz music when I paint and find that the briskness and depth of the rhythm becomes one with the lines and surfaces of the splashed colors. In contrast, the space is defined by a wind-like simplicity, passion and emptiness, the brushwork akin to the quick and precise beats of a drummer.

　　5.Spatial self-styling: Splashes of color are free and natural, giving rise to uncertain spatial effects that create an innovative personal style. This completes the alternate experiential aesthetic that informs my art and is something art lovers greatly appreciate.

　　What often appear to be the random actions of the artist are governed by experience of life, desire for balance in all things and pursuit of infinite beauty. It is only the freedom inherent to splashed color painting that allows the harmony and artistic conceptualization of natural landscapes to be conveyed.
