注目新店丨行至半山腰 有人在等候 Under Clouds Grand Opens



如果你是云南菜的拥趸,京城的无量山下餐厅一定曾在你心中占据一席之地。遗憾的是,因拆迁它已经与我们告别,然而幸运的是,“无量山下”的升级版“半山腰”已经落户芳草地了。


If you are a fan of Yunnan cuisine, the taste of “Under the Wuliang Mountain” in Beijing must be your favorite. Unfortunately, the restaurant has closed down. Well, the upgraded version “Under Clouds” is here at Parkview Green now.



离开热闹的中庭,转个弯,在略隐蔽的C座大堂看到半显半隐的“半山腰”三个字。这是一家餐厅吗?未免太低调了。或许它真的不是一家餐厅……

Walk through the rowdy courtyard and take a turn. And you will see the hidden sign “Under Clouds” in the quiet Tower C. Is this a restaurant? Maybe. Maybe not. A restaurant can’t be this discrete.

如果你在一个城市里稳定地生活了十年,甚至更久,空间与情感的搭配模式、生活方式已经相对固定,看似毫无惊喜和突破,那么,也许你也正处在人生的“半山腰”?


If you have lived in a city for more than 10 years, your circle of friends and areas you move around would probably be set. If everything becomes routine, maybe you feel a little stuck -sort of like “halfway up in the mountain” of your life.



是的,有几位也正处在“半山腰”的都市人,决定从相对固化的人生状态中跳脱出来,开创了一方都市生活里的第三空间——“半山腰”。因为,人们需要在特定的空间感知自己的所在,也需要在特定的时间表达自己所爱。


Yes, there is a group of people that feel this way. They decided to do something about it by breaking away from their routine life style to create another place - Under Clouds - a place to reflect and to feel one’s own presence, and a place to express love.


云南的色彩 一面绿墙和其他

当你走进“半山腰”,双目就被一整面暗绿色的墙所占据,随即你的心慢慢在它的注视中安静下来,在云南凝视对面大山时的体验即刻被唤醒。


Upon entering Under Clouds, a large dark green wall greets you. As you gaze the wall, your heart quiets down too. The memories of the Yunnan mountains come back right away.




很多人一提到云南,脑中会浮现出原生态的自然环境,艳丽多彩的少数民族服饰,而在“半山腰”创始团队心中,这些被人们固化了的云南印象并非它的本质。


People think of beautiful sceneries and the bright-coloured ethnic garment when they think of Yunnan. But Under Clouds gives no such stereo typical images.




“晴朗的云南,有透亮的蓝色天空,青色的群山,明亮鲜艳的花朵点缀其间。于是,我们用蓝、青绿、粉这几种颜色以云南特有的比例安排在半山腰,我们更想表达的是本质上的云南,逻辑上的云南,更符合都市人欣赏的云南。” 来自大理的创始人张本盛如是说。


Founder Zhang Bensheng who came from Dali told us: “On a sunny day, we have bright and translucent sky, green mountains, and bright flowers in between. So we decorate the place with blue, green, pink, colours like these in proportions that are uniquely Yunnan. We want to express the essential Yunnan, the logical Yunnan, the Yunnan for urban people.”



从一般餐厅的角度看,这里的空间布局略显紧凑,桌与桌之间相隔并不远。创始团队希望这样的摆放能够拉近人与人之间的关系,也因为在热情好客淳朴的云南,即便是陌生人也能到路边老乡家讨一杯茶喝。


The tables may look a bit crowded here. The owners deliberately designed it this way as a strategy to pull people closer. After all, in Yunnan, even strangers are welcome to the home for a cup of tea.



有情感 有灵感的食物

Food with Feelings and Emotions




当然,这里绝不仅仅只卖概念。饮食是人类社交的首选工具,当我们走进餐厅是因为我们想要与他人会面,拥抱他人并一起分享食物。在与虚拟现实打了一天交道之后,我们需要参与到一些具体地有形地活动中去。

But of course, this is not just a mere philosophy. After all, food is the prime tool for interpersonal social activities. We often visit a restaurant to meet with others and to share the food with others. After working with virtual collaborators for an entire day, we need to be with people physically.

“半山腰”为都市中的人们提供原汁原味的云南餐食。保证食材的新鲜,采用自然的调味,是云南菜的2大特点,大部分菜品只用简单的方式加工,配以当地食材,如柠檬、木瓜等来调味,很多菜配上专属蘸料,将味道的最终决定权留给食客。


Under Clouds caters to urban people with authentic Yunnan cuisine. The food is guaranteed fresh with natural flavors, only cooks with the simplest seasoning, using local food such as lemon and papaya as seasoning. There are also special sauces for some of the dishes.

野菜沙拉 Potherb Salad


你在菜单上能看到的食物名字,在口中也能清晰感受他们的形、色、味。你在菜单上能看到的地名,如哀牢山、无量山,你口中的食材也必定来自这里。


For all the items on the menu, you can definitely feel the form, colours, and tastes. And the places listed as origins, such as Ailao Mountain, Wuliang Mountain… they are definitely the places these ingredients came from.



在独立的咖啡区,有专门的精品咖啡师主理,由咖啡师以独到的品味严选来自云南或其他产区的咖啡豆,采用轻度到中度烘焙,更突出不同产地咖啡豆的独特风味。


The Coffe area is hosted by Fine coffee barista. Coffee beans are also merely roasted or moderately roasted to enhance the special flavors of different beans.


糯米糍 Nuomici


甜品的原料以店内自制为主,保证当日出品。在云南不可不食的糯米糍,以当地食材玫瑰花制作的饼干、牛肝菌制作的冰淇淋,都让人心动不已。


The ingredients for the desserts are mostly made in-house. The iconic gluttony rice cake from Yunnan, cookies made with rose petals, ice cream made with boletus… are some of the very enticing delicacies.



作为产茶名地的云南自然有好茶待客,在“半山腰”你能品尝到来自原产地的优质普洱和滇红。品好茶更需要懂好茶,这里的茶艺师很愿意邀请您到专属的品茶区面对面慢慢聊。


Yunnan is well known for delicate teas. You can savor the authentic Yunnan Puer and black tea here. They will lead you to the exclusive tea-tasting area for more conversations on tea tasting.
