世界肝炎日（7月28日）

病毒性乙型肝炎和丙型肝炎属于主要卫生挑战，影响到全球3.25亿人。二者是肝癌的根源，每年导致134万人死亡。乙型肝炎和丙型肝炎均为慢性感染，可能长期不出现症状，有时会长达数年或数十年。至少有60%的肝癌病例因没有及时检测和治疗病毒性乙型肝炎和丙型肝炎所致。要在2030年前实现全球消除目标，最需要解决的就是检测和治疗覆盖率低这一差距问题。2018年世界肝炎日活动的主题为“检测治疗肝炎”，旨在鼓励对病毒性乙肝和丙肝进行及时检测和治疗，以挽救生命。

World Hepatitis Day (28 July)

Viral hepatitis B and C are major health challenges, affecting 325 million people globally. They are root causes of liver cancer, leading to 1.34 million deaths every year. Hepatitis B and C are chronic infections that may not show symptoms for a long period, sometimes years or decades. At least 60% of liver cancer cases are due to late testing and treatment of viral hepatitis B and C. Low coverage of testing and treatment is the most important gap to be addressed in order to achieve the global elimination goals by 2030. With the theme “Test. Treat. Hepatitis”, World Hepatitis Day encourages the timely testing and treatment of viral hepatitis B and C to save lives.
