 宁彬彬简介

1975年生于天津，天津美术学院国画系硕士研究生。

2001-2003年留学于瑞典皇家美术学院自由绘画系与影像系。留学期间游历了欧洲多国,参加了学校组织的丹麦与德国的地下艺术考察,后前往埃及拍摄影像与纪录片。

2004-2007年间先后与姐姐宁丹丹创作于泰国普吉岛，共同为五星级小型奢华酒店Twinpalms创作系列原创作品，后姐妹继续合作创作了《丛林》与《浮生梦》系列。

在泰国期间拍摄制作有关泰国人妖的纪录长片kathoey。

记录片作品曾入选多个国际电影节。

2006年与2008年间生活创作于加拿大多伦多。

曾先后任天津美术学院综合绘画系，国画系讲师。现为职业艺术家，生活创作于天津，北京。

Ning Binbin

Ning Binbin was born in Tianjin in 1975. She holds a master’s degree from the Department of Chinese Painting of the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts.

She studied at the Royal University College of Fine Arts, Stockholm, from 2001 to 2003. During those years, she traveled extensively in Europe. She took part in a college-sponsored trip to Denmark and Germany to study underground art. She also shot videos and documents in Egypt.

From 2004 to 2007, she worked with her elder sister Ning Dandan in Phuket, Thailand, for two stints during which they created original paintings for the five-star luxury hotel Twinpalms Phuket. They continued to collaborate in the creation of the Jungles and Floating Life & Dreams series later.

During her stay in Thailand, she shot a long documentary on transsexuals titled Kathoey.

Her documents were admitted to many international film festivals.

She lived and worked in Toronto, Canada, in 2006 and 2008.

She worked as a lecturer at the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. She now is a career artist based in Tianjin and Beijing.

The Body was shown at an exhibition in Cagliari, capital of the Italian island of Sardinia
