本书收录的百余幅作品和文字，是我近几年的一段心路历程。

　　忐忑的是，通过这些作品，我依然无法摆脱内心对现实的困惑……

　　大自然的面貌，以及它所体现的不同种群之间的生存策略和平衡，一直深深地影响着我。

　　面对人的平台，面对技术进步、价值异化、是非角逐的今天，我的阐释和努力依旧非常苍白。这真是“打乱的世界，草鞋无号”。

　　也许，正是这些说不清、道不明、言不尽、画不止的特点，成就了我无所顾忌，简单、直接的做事理由。

　　飞者非鸟，潜者非鱼也省去了我在“书”外的赘言。

　　Over a hundred pieces of essays and paintings are collected in this book, which can be seen as a mirror of what I have thought about and been through during the past few years.

　　Nevertheless, it's somewhat disturbing that the completion of all these works is still not enough for me to figure out the confusion in my mind.

　　Features of the nature, the survival strategies and balance among different species affect and intrigue me deeply.

　　Today's era is an era of booming technological progress. It is teeming with diversified values and constant conflicts between right and wrong. In the face of such a reality, my efforts and explanation may seem feeble and in vain. It truly is a disturbed world.

　　Probably it is exactly the combined effect of these intricate thoughts that has made the simplicity, straightforwardness and fearlessness in my style.

　　As an epitome of what I want to express, All That Flies High up is Not Birds & All That Dives Deep down is Not Fishes saves me a lot of words.

　　I'd like to dedicate this book to my family and friends.
