青花瓷又称白地青花瓷，简称青花，是中国瓷器的主流品种之一。青花瓷在唐代时开始出现并盛行起来，随着烧制的工艺日益成熟，到了明清时青花瓷的烧陶工艺已经达到很高的一个境界，尤其是到了清中期时，青花瓷的烧制工艺达到鼎盛。青花瓷采用釉下彩工艺，先在瓷器胎体上描绘纹饰，再罩上一层透明釉，经高温一次烧成，因而达到永不褪色的效果。
罐，大口，鼓腹，用以储物、储水，既然是储存的用途，原应有盖，故名盖罐。明清时制青花盖罐，纹饰大多有夔龙纹、花卉纹、人物纹，具有时代特色。
