郑石桥先生字明才，号嶰竹斋主,祖籍江苏兴化，板桥后人。自幼酷爱绘画，秉承家学，功基深厚。青年时期开始师从黄宾虹、肖龙士、亚明诸先生。数十年来勤学苦练，以身许艺，长进匪浅。早在1986年《安徽日报》有文评价称“张建中画竹名震华夏，郑石桥画竹驰誉江淮”。
