　　ART LABOR Gallery is pleased to invite you to the opening party of a solo exhibition by artist Wang Qing,

　　Saturday, May 12th, 5 - 9pm. ALL WELCOME!

　　Wang Qing is a Shanghainese artist who spent nearly two decades in Tokyo, Japan, winning numerous awards and receiving his PhD from Tokyo Fine Arts University. This show will include some of his beloved Coming & Going series, and many newer style paintings, dealing with the theme of the inter-generational conflict so commonly found in families in China today, amongst other engaging topics.

　　“相”，即事物之相状，表于外而想像于心者。

　　而绘画作为一种艺术形式，其本身正是以各种形象来展现画家对各种问题的探索和思考。王青的绘画中出现的大量的 各种人、事、物的形象，甚至是人们习以为常的生活词汇，使观者站在旁观者的角度，观察世间各种人生情状，以期探索人性的本质。
