This piece of water is shining
Because you are beside it
This piece of spring is shining
Because you are inside it
The moon is clean and begins to flash like you
The flowers are clear and begin to burst like you
Which tide are you to be coming
Which star are you to be descending

Tread your clear and bright blue into pieces
To color the water and sky
And dye the dews in the clusters of your eyelashes
And draw a dream’s brims
What kind of terse brushwork
You are so pure
What kind of quiet sweat
You are so bright
The slightly trembling green light
Dare not touch you
The slowly rising voices of heart
Dare not annoy you
Which tide are you to be coming
Which star are you to be descending
The water is shining because you are beside it
This spring is shining because you are inside it
