于今日开幕的“This is Shanghai 这就是上海”展览项目展出了香格纳艺术家梁玥、施勇、徐震®、杨福东、杨振中的作品。展览分布在利物浦的标志性景观区海港码头的四个区域：丘纳德大楼、利物浦泰特交换空间、利物浦曼恩岛以及利物浦博物馆。

“This is Shanghai” art programme is presented today in Liverpool, exhibiting Liang Yue, Shi Yong, XU ZHEN®, Yang Fudong, Yang Zhenzhong’s work. There are numerous pieces exhibiting across Liverpool’s iconic Waterfront at: Cunard Building, Tate Exchange Liverpool, Mann Island, and Museum of Liverpool.

Group Exhibition “This is Shanghai”

此次的中国当代艺术群展汇集了十位上海最杰出的视觉艺术家，策展概念以双城——利物浦和上海之间发展的相似性为主线，为反思利物浦和上海两城的文化发展及变迁提供了新思路。

This exhibition of Chinese contemporary art features 10 of Shanghai’s leading visual artists, curated especially to explore the similarities between Liverpool and its twin city, Shanghai. This is Shanghai offers new perspectives and meditations on twinned cities Liverpool and Shanghai and parallels in urban and cultural transformation.

由徐震®发起，没顶公司创立编排了“首套反映了人类意识多样性的文化健身操”——《意识形状》。这项运动将会对每一位参与者产生强身健体和促进精神思考的双重功效，“维持健康的身体状况、增强肌肉和关节的灵活度，提高免疫系统，减缓压力和增强记忆”。此次展览期间，这一项目将在利物浦泰特交换空间再度上演，使作品得以置身于城市公共环境之中。通过直接参与的方式，重新诠释都市文化的观念，以及今时今日中国的日常审美。

Initiated by XU ZHEN®, Physique of Consciousness is produced by MadeIn Company as ‘the first cultural fitness exercise ever made … reflects the diversity of human ideologies’. According to the briefing, it will benefit both body and mind of the participants, by ‘maintaining a healthy physical condition, strengthening muscles, joint mobility, improving immune system, relieving stress and enhancing memory capacity’. This project will initially take place at Tate Exchange Liverpool and move to public realm across the city during the exhibition. Through participatory approach, it reinterprets perception of the urban culture, and the everyday aesthetics in China today.

About "This is Shanghai"

“这就是上海”与第十届利物浦双年展同期举行，作为利物浦市政文化年度项目“中国梦”系列的第二篇章。“中国梦”是为期九个月的一系列展览、表演、项目和活动，旨在传播中国现代文化，建立两国间重要文化机构之间的联系，探索未来文化合作的新契机。

This is Shanghai is the second chapter of China Dream in partnership with University of Liverpool, held simultaneously with the 10th Liverpool Biennale. China Dream is a 9-month long season of exhibitions, performances, events and happenings which aim to shine a light on modern Chinese culture, to build relationships between leading organisations in both countries and to begin exploring the foundations of future cultural relationships.
