#American Artist - I.M. Pei

The gardens and buildings of I.M. Pei’s childhood in China had a profound influence on Chinese-American architect professional vision. Pei developed his own style of combining traditional architectural elements with more contemporary geometric designs. His buildings can be seen around the world but perhaps his most famous structure is the pyramid entrance of Paris’s Musee de Louvre, which uses glass and steel to allow natural light into the subterranean lobby.
